Cedar Lane moved to an all new building in 2005 and it has everything a parent of special needs could hope for. The staff is wonderful, the building is superb, and the caring attitude toward these most severly handicapped students is unbeliveable.

Cedar Lane is a public self-contained special school for children with profound disabilities. My son is currently in the elementary program and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school and the staff. The Cedar Lane program is excellent, the environment upbeat and welcoming. From the principal on down, the staff is professional, optimistic, caring and well educated. Including the experienced nursing staff (RN s) assisting children daily from seizures & tube feedings to the occasional cold or flu. In addition to the typical therapies Cedar Lane offers swim therapy, domestic living skills, community skills, vocational programs including horticulture, industrial arts, career skills, and a work enclave program. These internal and external programs offer an appropriate mix of social and education growth opportunities. As a parent I couldn t be more pleased with this school! Tammy Kloser
