Academy of the Child

My son attended this awful school for 2yrs, and I know how damaging it can be to a kid that wants advanced skills. If you want to keep your kid mediocre then this is the school in entire MD.

My daughter attended Matsunaga K-1st and she is always happy to go to school. Matsunaga is a great school, great academic performance, strong leadership, responsive teachers and caring administrative staffs. The teachers are very attentative and they really work with students to meet the individual child's need. The on-site before and after school child caring program is very convenient, safe and fun for the kids. We are more than pleased with Matsunaga. 5 stars!

Our children have been enrolled from preK to 5th grade. A true Montessori school! Exceptional headmaster and teachers! Children and encouraged to develop, grow and excel. Their technique and genuine interest in the child's academy and social growth is realized by all. Most children seek outside projects due to their academic excitement-nutured by the headmaster and her staff. Parents are well involved in all school activities, school play production, etc. 5 Stars!
