Profile Completeness

HONOR ROLL

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

My kids have gone to this school for 2 years. The teachers have been pretty good . However I believe that the principal Mr. Wagner is not as he seems. When my son had problems it was swept under the rug and was never resolved to my satisfaction or my sons. I hope with a new principal this new school year things will be different and both my children have a great school and then my rating would go up.

Wonderful school with friendly and helpful staff. My children love this school and enjoy waking up and experiencing each and evey day here. We came from the arnold school area and I comfortably say this school is a much better school.

This is a WONDERFUL school. My kids transferred here after attending a private school and they have flourished beyond my expectations. They are recognzied for their hard work, congratulated for their acheivements, and are always encouraged to keep going. The communcication from the school is wonderful, teachers are approachable and available, and the administration is always present . The front office is phenomenal. The teachers care about every child and my children have benefitted from the individual attention they have received from their teachers. Music, band, dance group, lego club - all great!

My daughter loves the school, her fellow students, the staff, and especially her frist grade teacher Mrs Abbinanti. Everyone I've personally encountered are caring, lovely people who genuinely like children and want to foster their growth and education. The teachers encourage parent involvement and really listen and give feedback. Just wonderful.

Solley has really been a great push for my kids. One is in the gifted and talented program and the other is on her way. They push the kids just enough that they are willing to go the distance without over-stressing them. KUDOS!

Solley is a wonderful school my daughter has been there since pre-k and is now in 2nd grade and she has learned so much the teachers put such an effort into teaching the students and taking the time to make them understand the work. They also make it fun for them so they want to go to school. It makes me happy everyday to send her there. I know she is in great hands.

Living in a small town in North Dakota, I can appreciate the quality of learning from a small town school and environment. Solley Elementry school has just that appeal. If I were to still live in Pasadena I would not hesitate to have my children enrolled there for the best of the basics to be taught.

When my daughter transfered school districts I was concerned about her adjusting. Solley Elementray made the transaction smooth and the staff was all friendly and I felt very welcome. On her first day the Principal was outside in the cold saying good morning to all the students and he knew right away that my daughter was new and welcomed her and showed us the way to get her enrolled. Excellent School.

school spirit, teachers integrity and devotion, the office's responsibility and health room efficiency, learning made fun, how proud my son is to attend Solley, especially since I attended Solley and so did my mother over 45 years ago, its definatly a family oriented school with stern but loving discipline and the caring the teachers have for learning and education! Please vote Solley, our neighborhood school, as the best in the county or state for that matter...Solley Spirit will always live on no matter what!!!!

Great school! They connect with the community often and really care about their students! I've had one go through and one still there and I sleep very well know my child is at Solley ES. Mr. Wagner and Mrs. Reigger are visible and engaged with directing the school.

This is my children's second year and I have been nothing less than impressed with Solley and its faculty. There are endless volunteer opportunities. They are always bringing new technology, expanding their curriculum and my kids are flourishing. Mr. Wagner is involved and that makes me confident that he takes a personal interest in each and every child. My children's teachers this year are Ms. Ruskey and Mrs. Quarrick.

I love this school. Mr. Wagner is great. He is present all the time. I only drop my kids off at school about 2 time a month but I see him every time. The teachers are terrific, you can get involved as a parent for everything. It is just a great enviornment. Redistricting is now being talked about and I am extreamly concerned that this will take my kids out of this wonerful school. a++++

I have two children in this school and I have had no problems. Mr Wagner is very involved with the children. I voluntered every week in my children's class rooms and I saw him in the classes often. Safety is a high priority in this school.

The only time I don't see the principal at least once a day is when he's not at school. I've only had 1 negative experience with any teacher in the past 4 years and I have more than one child here. Most of the teachers seem to have a genuine concern for their students individually. Every staff member I've encountered has always been helpful and polite. And the parent involvement is wonderful which I believe is the main reason this is such a great school.

I am so disappointed in this school. Principal Wagner is not very involved. With the teachers it seems to be a hit or miss. It's a shame. There are very few extracurricular activities. The library is impressive as are the librarians and that's about the only good thing I can say about this school. I am doing everything I can to scrape together money to send my son to private school to get him out of here. I wanted to add that parental involvement is high and that's a big plus. Safety seems low on the agenda. The music program seems to be good and that's a plus as well.
