I'm a student and this school is great. At 1st i was scared to go because of all those awful rumors but the place is great! The teachers are very nice! They really cre about us!
I think has really inproved from the last few years and the teachers really care about the students. The students really picked up there game.
My son is a current student (05-06 school year) and I am very pleased with the school. The teachers inform me of what's going on in my son's class. Homework every night (except on days where there is a test) is a good policy that they have adopted. Since they have partnered w/local police and there is no gang problem and all fighting has stopped. This school is a great work in progress, but it takes parents getting involved to make it what it will be one day: the best middle school in PG County.
It is the worst school in prince georges county. The kids fight everyday after school. They have no respect for the principal or teachers. But there are some good teachers, but they have moved on to a better environment. The principal needs to take better control over the school and the kids.
