This is our second year at MCS and we could not be happier with the progress our children have made. We love the caring teachers and the curriculum is worlds apart from public. The hugs from the teachers are definitely worth it too! If anyone is questioning whether to send their child to private vs. public, I would definitely encourage them to come to MCS.

Mountain has been wonderful for my son who is attending the school for the first time after being in public school until this year. The teachers have been great and he is acheiving good grades and a new faith thanks to the great teachers there!

I highly recommend this school. My son has been enrolled since Kindergarten and is now in Second grade. He is thriving. He and I both feel that he is protected and loved. God is truly in this place. Thank you Mrs. W. You are the best! L. Zink

Both my children attended this school. While the education was good, I felt that they were overly strict in areas that hampered the children's creativity and positive outlook on school. Furthermore, I felt that the principal did not value the input of the parents or appreciates them as paying customers.

Mountain Christian was an ok school. The teachers were nice and strict. I did not like the principal because she makes too many rules.

This shool is okay. Some of their teachers need to be better. I know the teachers go from wacky to completely boring. Also, the teachers are strict and its not a good place to send your child if your child likes to have fun while learning. They take their saftey and discipline rules way too far.

I am a former student of Mountain Christian School. Upon entering a public high school I found a remarkable difference in education levels. Mountain Christian School was far ahead of the public school system in curriculum, which enabled me an easier transition into a environment that doesn't focus on quality of education.

I only have wonderful things to say about the staff and faculty. Our principal is the best! The educational instruction is fair superior to public schools. My 1st child was in public school, then homeschooled, then Mountain Christian . Thank goodness, we found the right fit for our children before the 2nd began school. Although it is a faith based education it isnt 'overboard'.

My son has been at Mountain for 6th, 7th and now 8th grade. We all love it here. Small class size, christian basis, safe and supportive environment. I am so glad we chose this school over other options, especially public middle school.

I think that the school is the best! it offers the best in education, and really helps the child excell in there education rather than the public school atmosphere where they have too many children to worry if one child falls behind or not! I would deffinatly recomend!

We've been attending the school for 2 years now. Overall we have been very happy w/the school and their teachers and staff. We believe we are far better off here than at the public schools due to the Christian teachings and attitudes. We believe we have made a good choice in Mountain Christian.

My son just graduated from Mountain after 3 years. It was the best decision we ever made to send him there! We found the middle school teachers, as well as the other teachers, to be wonderful, caring, energetic loving christian teachers. The students were also in that same catagory and my son has made many new and long lasting friendships. We are truly going to miss this school and it's teachers. I would recommend this school to everyone.

This is a great school. The teachers are great caring fun Christian teachers all the way up to 8th grade. Everyone should consider this school. Mountain Christian offers different kinds of sports, trips/retreats, field day, concerts, and different learning experiences. Most importantly it offers Christian education. Come to Mountain!

Not bad for grades K-5 but the Middle School isn't the same caring group of teachers. They aren't encouraging like the pre-middle school teachers. It was a shock in 7th grade.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
