JES is an excellent school on all levels. The teachers and faculty are dedicated to nurturing their students and almost all of them assist in some form of extra-carricular capacity. I have 4 children enrolled here. The building was remodeled in 2009 and is now state-of-the-art, including a media center, computer labs, and networked flat screen TVs in all classrooms for announcements and lessons.

JES is a wonderful school, the staff goes above and beyond to help the students be successful. When new Army families come to the area I suggest living in the JES boundaries so their kids can also have the wonderful education experiences that my children have received. Mr Cook the principal knows each student by first name, he is simply put a wonderful person and great educator. My youngest son has had some difficulties and the staff Mrs, Carmichael and Mrs. Barlow have been very helpful in helping him adapt and over come his issues. Like I said before they go above and beyond to help the students and the parents. Great school!

I would like to share an experience I had at JES. I arrived at JES to pick up my son for a dental appt. I did not bring my ID out of my car with me and because I do not frequent the school enough for the staff to recognize me, I was unable to pick up my child until my son came to the office, recognized his mother, the principal, Mr. Cook walked us out to my car to check my ID and to make sure I said I was who I said I was. Now, I call that good safety regulations. Thanks JES for the safety and responsibility that you all have with our children...And we also thank the 'Y' program that the school offers....

JES is a great school. The teachers and staff are great they know all the children by name. The atmosphere is pleasant. Even with the construction going on the school runs smoothly. Just can't hide that Joppatowne Pride!!

JES is a wonderful school. The teachers care about their students and are committed to teaching. My son is in the 5th grade and I will truly miss JES. I hope his experience in Middle School will be as wonderful as that of JES.
