Anyone who say K.P isn't a great school, is wrong. i am also a student there and i love it so much! i wouldn't want to leave it for anything!! Lots of my very good friends are children with special needs, and those kids are also a part of student council, patrols, and more. So yes, everyone is completely welcome and involved! The teachers are the best and they are just so generous and always have time for the students!! K.P is absolutely awesome and i give it 5 stars!!
It is true, K-P is a beautiful school with a wonderful art integration program. Unfortunately all special needs students are not accommodated. More from a lack of teacher knowledge than a willingness to help children. It only takes one student to fall behind to make you wonder about others.
Wonderful school and staff ! Inclusive with kids with special needs !! Bravo !
Kensington welcomes all it's students with open arms and a loving heart. Thank you Kensington Parkwood Elementary School.
KP is an Arts Integration school, that skillfully uses the arts to enhance every learning experience. It also is a true inclusion school. Special needs students are truly included and involved in the school community.
Wonderful school, with very high quality and caring teachers. Arts Integration program leads to very innovative uses of the arts in relation to all subjects in all grade levels.
I love this school because of its arts integration program. My middle child LOVES art and he gets a chance to incorporate art into so many things at the school!
Bringing the arts into every subject has been a wonderful way to bring learning into everything the students do. The teachers are creative, parents are welcomed in the classroom, and my kids come home loving school.
Our students, teachers, parents and administrators all work together to raise creative problem solvers through collaborative work in the Arts and Academics together!
Kensington Parkwood is a nicely maintained facility with great teachers and administration. The PTA keeps everyone involved, and the arts integration program which teams up with the Kennedy Center offers a unique experience for the kids.
