This school is amazing! The dedication from the teachers is so refreshing. The curriculum is very challenging but the children are able to reach the higher expectations. I consider it to be the little school that could. It's half the size of most private schools in PG County but they have accomplished so much! Former students leave Ascension extremely well prepared and flourish at top notch high schools and colleges.

I am truly in awe of this school. We transferred from another local private school and I am embarrassed to say that my child is behind. However, he is catching on quickly and I am confident he is now being challenged. The staff demands a lot from the children but it's fun and interesting. Aside from rigorous academics, my child is participating in a fine arts program that is outstanding. This school is preparing him for the future and he loves it. I couldn't ask for more.

Ascension Lutheran is a wonderful, well-rounded school. The staff is outstanding, the class room sizes are wonderful and the educational experience is very enriching. I would highly recommend Ascension to any parent. My child has attended for the past 6 years and we love it.
