I have been at this school now for 3 years and have a middle schooler and two children in elementary school. I have been extremely pleased with the academics at this school, and with the teacher support and input. When I had a concern with one of my children, I arranged to talk to the teachers and we worked out an ongoing communication method so we could keep track of how my child was doing. Moreover, there are lots of opportunity for community involvement for families.

Wouldn't give St. Mary of the Mills a 4 star for parent involvment... after denying a parent a teacher conference. Wow totally amazing... and I have proof. Ever heard of such a thing? So sad!
I have been very pleased with this school. I have 2 children currently enrolled who remain very enthusiastic about school and learning. I find the environment to be caring and nuturing while maintaining a strong academic focus. Would strongly recommend this school to others

The teachers are pretty good, but the students are a little snobby and disrespectful.
St. Mary's is an exceptional school. The academics and strong emphasis on the Catholic faith is great. This school is wondeful for forming young children of virtue and character. The principal is always involved and the teachers are all extremely dedicated to teaching the students beyond the standards. St. Mary's has a very good media department that teaches knowledge at a high school level in a fun, understandable manner.

St. Mary's is an outstanding school. The teachers and staff are very caring, and the academics are strong. In 1st grade my child grew leaps and bounds academically due to the high standards to excel set forth by her teacher, and that has continued each year. There is also a real emphasis on the Catholic faith, with daily prayer, weekly adoration and Mass with their classes, and the steady reinforcement of Christian values. There is a great feeling of family there and caring for your child. You know that the faculty takes a personal interest in your child and the school is very safe. They will let you know when your child is having a rough day, and are quick to acknowledge and praise good work. There is also a very diverse student body with children of many races and backgrounds. Good sports and extracurricular programs too. We love St. Mary's!

St. Mary of the Mills is a great elementary-middle school with mostly wonderful, caring, and very involved teachers. We have been at the school for years & my kids absolutely love it. Educationally they are excelling at all subjects--now. A few years ago under a different principal it was a different story. But since the current principal (in his 3rd year & he is wonderful) took over, he I feel has made curriculum & teacher expectations his top priority. Catholic christian values & morals are emphasized here at all times...which is wonderful (and I am not catholic!) and my children have grown spiritually into wonderfully well-rounded children with a great sense of security, self-worth & a genuine love for others.

This is our first year,so far so good.GREATsecurity technique. Advanced technical teacher, very concerned and care for the children. This school has been in existence since 1800s.God has not allowed it to fail. The system works along with practicing the love of Jesus. The uniforms are very respected as is the school.Principal and vice are on top of things and you will see them every morning and afternoon active in the assurance of the childrens entering and leaving the school.I reccomend this school to all people including students comming out of other Christian schools. You will be pleased.Keep up the good work SAINT MARYS OF THE MILL!

This school is quite good in my opinion. The circular for K-4 isn't that good though. The social studies is below average because you only learn about American history and things like communities. All the rest is fine and the basic stuff you would get if you were at any other school. When you get into 5th grade the circular picks up. The social studies teacher in my opinion is one of the best and the Language arts, Math and Religion teachers are quite experienced. The Science teacher is nice and you can easily pass by just studying. Anyone who says the principal lacks leadership I think is making that up. Again I reccommend this school for older kids and the kids there are very diverse so your child will most likely make at least one good friend.

This is my daughter's 3rd year at this school. We are very unhappy with the quality of teachers and the leadership of the principal. The curriculum is weak, and teachers are too lax. I would have kept her if I knew that next year's teachers are any better, but when asked around, I found out that the teachers next year are worst that what I've seen already. We are considering moving her to another private school. If you live beside a good public school, you are better off saving your money and sending your child there.

This school is horrible. None of the teachers are really nice and most of them are very weird. the uniforms are horrible!!And if there is a big problem or situation they don't do anything about it this is the truth. I am a student here and i don't like it at all.

Often times as a student I feel this paticular school is sexist seeing as thought it has more female oriantated activities, for example girls group( no boys group )and knitting club. All other groups are the cyo sport( not entirely St.Mary's sponcered) teams, student council, band, and mathcounts. On the other hand its middle school teacher strive to assist the students in reaching their true potential.
