As a parent of a student in his fourth year at LES, I could not be happier. I love that the teachers are so proactive in ensuring that students are successful academically and socially. The communication is friendly and open, and the teachers seem to always be available to parents. I feel very fortunate that my son attends such a wonderful elementary school.

I attended LES, worked at LES as a teacher, and now my daughter attends LES. It had and still has a positive atmosphere, dedicated teachers, and a motivated student body. Two teachers, in particular, who still work at LES, were instrumental in helping me to become a teacher and they continue to provide the students, along with the rest of the quality educators, with a wonderful learning environment. The new principal is highly motivated and demonstrates a sincere sense of caring for the students and staff at LES. I am excited that my daughter is a part of this school and am especially looking forward to the opening of the new building. The teachers and students deserve it!

I am a former student of L.E.S. and I have to say that it was a very positive experience for me. When I attended, I had a couple of teachers who encouraged me to suceed. One of which made me feel like a person, and that's not something very many teachers do anymore. A good teacher is hard to find, as well as an education. However, at L.E.S. both of those as well as personal gain are promised and delivered. Highly recommended!

My daughter has attended LES for over 4 years and it has been a very positive experience. The Leadership from the top on down is fantastic. The 5 teachers that my daughter has had have been exceptional, while very different in their approaches to teaching. The overall school environment is friendly and supportive. The only areas of concern for me as a parent are the growing class sizes and the decreasing number of parents who seem to be actively involved in their children's education. Leonardtown Elementary has provided my daughter with a wonderful foundation on which to build the rest of her education.

My three children have attended Leonardtown Elementary for the past 3 years and I can't say enough good things about this school! The Principal and Asst. Principal, teachers and office staff are just wonderful. My children have learned so much through this school. We are moving back to Texas in two months and I know that my children are so much wiser and educated thanks to this wonderful Elementary. Don't even think twice about sending your children here. This is a fantastic school with wonderful leadership, extracuricular activities and an overall quality of 100%!
