This is a well-run, organized school with excellent leadership and outstanding teachers... particularly in the upper grades there. The school is friendly, welcoming and gives a parent a great sense of trust in their handling of the children under their care and guidance!

This was my first elementary school until I moved to Pennsylvania. It had great teachers when I went there and I am sure they have ones now that are just as great. I haven't went to school there in about 4 years since I will be in 8th grade this coming school year of 2009 and 2010. But still, I am postive that the school is one of the best in the county. I am sure of it. So if you are looking for a great school to send your kids to if you are moving into the area or for some other reason, I am pleased to say that I think Town Creek Elementary would be a wonderful choice. Thank you and I hope my review has helped you in some sort of way. Have a great day. Bell L. =)

Wish there were more programs before or after school for the children. Science club? Athletics? something...

Excellent school that both of my children have gone through. It becomes apparent when you see them move up to middle school that they have gone through a rigorous program.

All of my children except one have attended Town Creek. It is an exceptional school and has one of the best school to community relationships I have ever experienced. The entire school is like one great big family from the scool nurse to the ladies in the lunchroom to the principal. The children love to be there and learn in a positive environment.

I continue to be pleased with the Town Creek Elementary, and both my children enjoy their every moment at school. For 2006-2007 Town Creek once again out performed all the other local elementary schools in the region with an MSA of 91.2% for the 3rd grade both in math and reading. For 4th and 5th grade Town Creek had a math MSA of 96.8 and 98% respectively. You can see it for yourself at http://www.msp.msde.state.md.us/. Another advantage of Town Creek school is it's small size. Everyone knows everyone else by their name, from the principal to the cafeteria manager, to all the teachers. This provides a feeling of belonging and enhances the children's learning experience. Our son just finished kindergarten and our daughter finished 2nd grade. Looking forward to another exciting and fruitful year at Town creek next year. Thanks to all that make Town Creek Elementary a great school, from the parents who devote their time in PTA activities to all the teachers and staff. Daniel Motamed

All 3 of my children went to Town Creek. It was the best experience I could ever wish for my children. The principal is wonderful, the teachers are wonderful. It is such a warm and loving environment, and my children were very academically prepared (and above) for middle school. My kids and I both wish they could go back! My only complaint would be that Town Creek is so small that when they enter middle school, it's a bit of a shocker. The smallness, on the other hand, is what made the school so terrific. We only wish the middle and high schools in the area could be so great!

My 7 year old daughter attends the 1st grade at Town Creek School, and we are very pleased with the school in every aspect. Teachers are the best in the county, and the children s test scores are living proof of teacher s care and hard work. The Administration of the school is superb, under the management of great individuals such as Principal Mrs. Kathryn Miluski, and a few others who truly care about every Child. I also enjoy all the extracurricular activities of the PTA and school, which keeps the parents involved with their children s school activities and performance. I am looking forward to my 4 year old attending the kindergarten there next year.

I went to this school from 3rd grade to 5th grade. I actually loved it. The teachers are really involved and help you if you need it. This school has a great program called Kindergarten Buddies. That's where the 5th grade students go to the Kindergarten class and read to them and do special activities with them. I had the pleasure of doing this twice because I was in a 4/5 split in my 4th grade year. I personally loved this school. The teachers are great and the principal is very nice. Town Creek truly prepared me for Middle School. This is a great school!

My daughter attended this school for 2 years and I was very pleased with her teachers. Unfortunately we had to make a move for a job and haven't been as fortunate in the school we have moved to. I just wanted to tell everyone that the teachers there really care about their students and they value their parents opinions as well. Keep up the good work in the area! They need more schools like yours.
