We have two children at GBES who began attending in '09. From start their teachers and the leadership at the school have met our expectations for teaching our children with regards to their education as well as their personal growth. We have always been able to communicate with their teachers when needed and know that we are welcome in their classrooms at any time. We like that they have a lot of activities for the kids outside of school such as MESA, Green Club, Basketball, Math Team, etc... as well as an active PTA for parents to get involved with. Overall we have been very pleased with our kids progress and are glad they attend this school.

My son has attended Gale-Bailey since first grade. He is now going into third grade. Since the beginning, I have been impressed at the quality of the teachers, and also at the kindness and caring atmosphere provided for the students from both the teachers and administrative staff. Their behavior reinforcement (ROAR) program is both positive and effective. Way to go!

My child attends this school. I have tried to get involved many times but have noticed that unless a person belongs to 'the click' your involvement is not wanted or needed. Several of the teachers she has had over the years are simply there to collect a pay check. They don't return phone calls/emails or give requested parent/teacher conferences. Obvious educational needs are ignored by some teachers hence lower grades. Classroom sizes are quite large, approx. 28 per class, in a very small room which comfortably should hold around 15.

My child currently attends Gale-Bailey and he loves it! His teachers, to include the entire administrative staff, are awesome! I can't wait for my youngest to attend. It's a home away from home!

My son has been at Gale-Bailey since Kindergarten. He is doing very well. Our school has an awesome PBIS behavior plan that teaches respect, attentivness and to be ready to learn. Although we do not have tons of volunteers, the ones we do have are worth a million bucks. They are always there when you need them. The staff at Gale-Baily is like family, they do for one another and the families in our community. I couldn't think of any where else I would put my son in the public school system.

My son attend this school for only one year but in that year he was having issues with reading which were never addressed as well as issues with understanding different math situations. The teacher said that things were going to be addressed however I did not see a difference until we moved and switched schools. The parent envolvment is not high at all and after school exprience wasn't the greatest.
