Maugansville Elementary School

The staff and community support the school. Every grade has teachers with caring attitudes. They support the kids with every tool they have. The extended day is wonderful. There are great fun activities. All the administration is invested.

promote good values; good, clean learning environment

i love maugansville elementary school because thay have done so much to help my son get the help he needed. he was at another school; for 3 years and they did nothing for him he couldnt read he couldnt write . it was like he was never in school. he got switched to maugansville and he is now doing wonderful. they got him the assistance he needs to help him get his education. the teachers at this school truely do care for their students. the principal and entire staff care for every student in the school. they try to help everyone they can everyday. they really do deserve to be one of americas top 5 schools!!!!!

This is my son's first year in Maugansville Elementary School. It is a brand-new building. The old school was destroyed. The school has exceeded all my expectations 100%. We are African-American and never felt out of place or uncomfortable. Our family was always treated with the utmost respect. Principal Van Norden is the best. If you are looking to relocate to Hagerstown I highly recommend this school.

This is my son's first year at Maugansville since we were redistricted from Paramount. The school building is brand new and beautiful. The principal, staff and teachers are top-notch from what I have seen. My son enjoys school and is doing well there.
