Prior to transferring our daughter to Lettie Dent, I contacted the Principal, Mrs. Eddy, with our concerns for our daughter's learning style. Mrs. Eddy arranged for us sit in each third grade classroom to observe the teaching style of the teachers. So far, we have had great communication with both teachers and principal. They are always willing to hear our concerns and have made an effort to ensure our daughter is receiving the assistance required.
Educational needs in our opinion are not being met. Boredom and classroom stress are a factor. Home schooling is being seriously considered.
Review based on Grade K- Focus on phonetics, reading, early math skills. Program has improved with emphasis on all kids reading after 3 months of school.
