ll of my children attended this school and each of them learned valuable lessons of life and were given a wonderful education by compassionate faculty members. My children were always sad when they had to leave.

My son has been attending the school only since the new school year. After being in a military school since pre-k and having autism, I was seriously concerned how the school would cope. I have to say that they have been great. He has a fantastic teacher who treats him like her own child and they have tried their best to make modifications without making life too easy for him. My only disappointment is that the school has minimal recess - only 1 or 2 times a week which is probably the norm in the county but I believe recess is key to good behavior and development and I hope this will improve.

I have 1st and 2nd graders at BVES. We moved here for the 2007/2008 school year from the military school system and I was worried about the public school system education. But I have been very pleasingly surprised. The teachers and staff have been great and the education level seems to be very good with realistic evaluations. Steady homework with increasing difficulty and variety in subjects shows that full effort is required from teachers and students. I have no more hesitations about Bay View and look forward to the following years.

Bay View Elementary is an EXCELLENT school with a staff that goes above and beyond for EVERY student. The staff faces many challenges and meets them head on. Thank you to Bay View for offering students a quality education from caring professionals. Some parents are VERY involved in the school and their help is SO important.
