I have one child in the school now and another in middle school, but went to Waugh Chapel. My daughter was very well prepared for the next stop when she left the school. My son who has had develepment problems is showing signs of maturing due to the fact that teachers and administration care about the childred. Ms Simms is the principal that others need to emulate.

We recently moved to the area and were surprised by the attention and friendliness shown by all. We are looking forward to her finishing out at this school.

I have a child in the 3rd grade and 1st grade at Waugh Chapel. They love it, I love it, the teachers are great and Mrs. Sims (Principal) is wonderful to the students. We could not be happier. Thank you to all the staff!!

My two sons attended WCES and I believe it to be one of the best elementary schools I can imagine. The staff were extremely helpful and professional... they cared for my sons as if they were their own children. Even my son with developmental delays did extraordinarily well because the staff and faculty were led by the most caring of administrators, Mrs. Sims. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for my boys!

Pleasantly surprised. Reminds me of when I went to elementary school years ago. Great community feel. My daughter enjoys school and is doing well. Facilities are old, but they do the best with what they have.

I sent my child here for Kindergarten, first, and second grade. I didn't really enjoy the experience. I thought 90% of the teachers were horrible. They didn't help me at all. My daughter was having some trouble in second grade because the family was going through my divorce with my ex-husband. She was very upset and needed help. I asked the teachers for things and they didn't help me at all. They never returned my emails or phone calls. The principal was great but the faculty wasn't. Other students were mean too. I then sent my child to School of the Incarnation which is a wonderful school.

We have 2 boys in WCES in K and 1st grade. Teachers are outstanding, experienced, and excellent. Facility and grounds are old and tired. The school draws from mixed income neighborhoods: good for diversity; bad for some behavioral influences; principal and staff handle these conflicts expertly and seriously. Most kids are from professional, well educated families, with a few exceptions. My kids love to go to school and love their morning bus driver, Mr. Mike. In all, I give this school excellent marks.
