This is our first year at Liberty Christian as we were looking for a suitable Middle School when Ruxton Country School closed last year. Can I tell you I wish we had found this school when back my son just started 1st grade. What a GREAT SCHOOL! Sadly, my son will be graduating next year(8th) but he has had a wonderful experience here at liberty! The teachers are actively involved in the student's development and care deeply about each and every last child. The school is a family. I only wish we could afford having both of our children here but our 3td grader will be attending when he enters 6th grade. They have a great ciriculum and everything is on a sprirtual background but not 'overbearing.' They have a great baskeball team and even a cheerleading squad. I can't say enough anout how great this school is.

I have grown up with this school. This year I graduated from 8th grade. I've been in this school since Kindergarten. The kids are great, MOST of the teachers are fine, but there is very little independence. If you wear the wrong colored socks or forget your belt you must get a discipline slip. It's not like children will be fighting like 'I have a better belt than you! Oh!' Sometimes the teachers can be very nosy, too.

I am extremely pleased with the school. Our daughter started in KG last year and we plan on keeping her till she graduates. We love the Christian environment and she already has a good knowledge of who Christ is...and now that is a very important factor for us. Dr. Kennedy and the staff are just excellent and very approachable. If you are looking for a Christian school, don't look further...this is it. There is no discrimination which is quite a relief. One insignificant factor - I just wish they let the little girls wear skirt/skorts/tunic instead of shorts. But I guess they have their reasons.

My daughter has been attending Liberty Christian School for 2 years and she loves it. The Christian environment is warm and nurturing. The teachers are terrific, I can't say enough about how much they care for the students. We both love the school.

We started going to school 'Open Houses' when our daughter was 4. We decided on Liberty Christian School because we wanted our child to have a Christian Education and be in a Christian Evironment and also the Academics there are wonderful. She has been there since Kindergarten and is now entering third grade. The student/teacher ratio is excellant and the rapport that the administration and staff have with these children is outstanding!

I have had one child go all the way through from k-8th grade and 3 are presently enroled. Next year I will send my 5th. The school is excellent! My children are excelling academically and they love it there. The teachers and staff are all very supportive and they love the children. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is emphasized and the word of God is taught. I cannot say enough good things about Liberty Christian School. I might also add that LCS is the Maryland State Chess Champion and has many other awards in sports as well. They also offer a mission trip for 8th graders.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
