This is my senior year at NHS. I absolutely love it. We are one of the most close knit schools around and is more like a family. They have great teachers who truely care about their students and there isnt much violence like the other schools around. I will miss it soo much.

The school registrar at Northeast High is a very rude and disrespectful person. Her attitude and demeanor was not only unprofessional but unacceptable when I called with concerns regarding my child. Not only was she rude and disrespectful to me but also to another school official calling on my behalf to clarify a few questions. This concerns me if she feels she can talk to a parent and a professional of her peers in that manner, I wonder how she treats our children!

The dedicated teachers at the school make coming to school a pleasure. Things like Spirit Day, Prom, activities like Dance all make me have more fun! Rumors aren't true; just that....people from other schools knock our school. We have less kids! So we have less trouble...and I know, I transferred from Old Mill. I hope to be a teacher. The principal is awesome and cares! The teachers...so nice and make learning fun! I hope to send my kids here too! There are some kids that just don't want to learn and are in special ed that are really smart. They need help to learn that they would be better off learning, then coping out! They are sad. Every school has them though.

My honest opinion: I am limited to 150 words; my original text was 420 words, so I am going to sum it up: if you send you students to Northeast, make sure they get into a class with Mrs. Kasper (English), Mrs. Braun (Math), Mrs. Gordon (Psychology), Mr. Green (Biology), and/ or Mrs. Watson (Spanish). These are the teachers that have made my High School career what it is, they are the best teachers this school has to offer. As a college student, I have realized that the education I have from Northeast trumps that of most students who went to private school. However, would I send my children there? No. I would not. I would not send them to private school over Northeast, but I would not send them to Northeast.

Guys if you are veiwing this to get inrolled into the school then goahead. I am not biased, i have been in seven different anne arundel schools and the best one out of all of them is this school North East High School. Parents your kids will be happy here and you wouldent have to worry about them because it is a drug free school and the teachers take care of the students for their grades. Every other person is a sport jawk and therefore they are educated and well mannered. There is nothing like peer pressure, bullying in this school. High standard people are enrolled here and you would love to come here.!!!!!!I am currently a senior here and i loved my four years, in addition to that i think i will miss it so much that i will come back as a teacher here since that is my major.

I love this school and everyone in it. I am a sophomore at NHS and I cant wait for the next two to come. Th teachers and students here are amazing. All these rumors going around about NHS being a terrible school are not true. If it was how would all our HSA scores be beating all the state averages? Dont hate on NHS just because your school isnt that hot. If your child is failing thats thier fault. All of the teachers here explains everything very well. Its your childs fault for not paying attention. Dont blame the school blame your child and start being a better parent.
