Attentive staff and administration. Teachers who are very skilled and who connect with the kids. A learning process that advances kids where their strengths are and supports them with their weaknesses. Everything a kid needs to succeed is available -- it's theirs to go after!

Our child is in his second year at Perryville Middle. I have a slightly different take on this school. We have found the staff and administration to be very helpful and eager to work with parents on any issue. I am in contact with my son's teachers at the slightest signal of a problem with assignments or behavior. There is so much complaining County wide about the school system, teachers and administrators, it's amazing.

The attention provided to children leaving elementary school starting at middle level leaves much to be desired. Perryville curriculm my be good but I would give it good only with the correct teaching staff to deliver it. Middle school should guide our children into High School not scare them away. I also agree with the other parents. The hallways are very unruly. No control at all.

I am not sure what is going on at PMS but it is not the childs best interest. My child has a mild autism and has been a bullied so badly that he wants to quit school! I have addressed this issue with principal, and vice, staff memeber after staff member and it seems like all that ever happens is the children who comitt the offence get a sweet talking too and lay off for a week or two

The Academic level is geared toward lower level students. The half a year of Social Studies and Science leave much to be desired educationally. The total lack of discipline leads to bullying and degradation of student morale! Teachers turn a blind eye to all abhorrent behavior. Swearing and physical abuse are common in the halls and classrooms. I am withdrawing my children for their own safety!
