Both of my daughter's attend this school and I have to say that the teachers are caring and supportive of the children. I am amazed at what is being taught at the kindergarten and third grade levels. My youngest has come away from this year reading, writing and learning addition and subtraction. It is amazing all that can be fit into one day for these children. The one problem I forsee is the ever changing administration. The vice principal has changed twice and we are getting a new principal this year that may retire in a few more years.
I've had two children attend K thru 5 at Rising Sun Elem. The leadership is outstanding. The teachers and staff are caring and always encourage parent involvement. This school has been great to my kids. I also have my youngest child currently attending and I have no negative comments. This truly is a good school.
