Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I love this school in every respect. Top notch teachers and staff and I especially love the principal, Mr. Spadoni. He is very involved in day to day activities. He is friendly, approachable and has a genuine love for each student and family. I have even seen handwritten notes from him on my kid's homework and recently learned that he routinely reviews tests and homework. This school fosters a family-like atmosphere and everyone looks out for each other. My kids love everything about it and are doing very well academically, which says a lot. We had a terrible experience at the local public school to the point where my child did not want to go to school. I highly recommend St. E. It was the best decision I have ever made and have no regrets.

St E's provides an exceptional atmosphere for learning and development for your child. My child was successful at their prior school before transferring to St. E's and then they challenged her to be even better. It was more than we could hope for as parents. Additionally, the community of St. E's is welcoming and supportive. There are just too many exceptional stories to tell about the administration, faculty and families that make up the school. There is definitely something special going on here and we feel lucky to be part of it.

i recently transfered schools and am very happy with the change. my previous school was not so great. people there were rude and the classes were not challenging. at St. Es it is totally different, the people here are so nice students and staff. our pricipal is so nice, he is compationate, caring, kind, and very friendly. he is open arms to everyone. The classes are very funyou learn new things each day and the teachers really make sure you are comfortable is the class(having to do with the speed of learning the material and if you understand). if you want to move your child from their current school. this is the school to go to.( not to mention all the food is delicious and homemade)

This is our first year at St. E's and we are very happy with the switch from public school. I disagree with the comments about parents and cliques, we and our children feel very welcome to the community. The staff has gone out of their way to make any needed accomodations for our children. I wish the classes were a bit smaller, but the teachers (2) do a wonderful job of managing it. With the inclusion of faith and character teachings in their day, I have seen a change in the way my children speak and act. The principal at St.E's is very involved and approachable.

While I agree that the academics at this school are strong and the teachers and principal excellent, over the years the school has become too crowded, with some class sizes of over 30 students. Also, in several grades the kids are very cliquey, rude and entitled as are the parents. If you are looking for a small, close-knit environment where the parents and children truly respect and care for one another this is not it.

This is our first year at St Elizabeth and we are totally pleased with the school. It is the right mix of strong academics, living faith and caring environment. I agree with the compliments to the principal's leadership and would add that the teachers are outstanding as well. The school keeps parents engaged in activities which builds a true sense of community. Having studied myself in top schools, I would have liked to study at St E's.

We have three children and have been a part of the St. Elizabeth family for twelve years now. Our youngest is an eighth grader and I can't tell you how sad I am that it is our last year at this wonderful school. St. E's has provided my children with a quality educational experience in a nurturing environment. The principal has set high standards which are Christ-centered and values-oriented. Students are held accountable for their actions and bullying is not tolerated. We are proud and consider ourselves blessed to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community!

I have been a teacher in the Archdioceses for over 25 years and currently have the privilege of serving the children and families of St. Elizabeth Catholic School. I was disturbed to read a previous review alleging that bullying in our school has been overlooked. Under this administration, this is simply not true. Our entire community is committed to protecting the well-being, safety, and dignity of all our children. We even established a peace-makers team of students to help promote Christian values and positive conflict resolutions. We emphasize a different positive value every month and honor those students who exemplify such values. I will pray for those who feel their needs were unattended in the "past." The "present" St. Elizabeth's, however, is a gift, and I for one, am blessed to be part of such a special place where Christ is the model for our faculty and inspiration for our students.

St. Elizabeth School has a wonderful, warm atmosphere. The students are treated with love and respect by the teachers and staff. I am always amazed to see the students openly demonstrate their love of their teachers by giving them hugs when they see them in the hall. I think there is no greater testimony to the trust and love the students feel for their teachers, as well as the principal, who greets the students with personal interest all through each day. A great emphasis is put on respect for not only adults, but also for their peers. Our school counselor is very active in promoting character building programs and incentive projects for students caring for each other. The atmosphere of the hallways and classrooms is bright and cheerful. I think parents who have their children at St. Elizabeth School are indeed very blessed to have such a wonderful school atmosphere and such a strong academic program.

We transferred our three children from a catholic school in Prince Georges County to St. Elizabeth's 4 years ago. Initially, our children had a difficult time adjusting, but with the continued support and encouragement that they received from the dedicated teachers and administrative staff, they succeeded. St. Elizabeth's has a rigorous and challenging academic program, and fosters a faith-filled environment, where invididual differences are respected. Our children were forced to reach their full academic potential. We are looking forward to our youngest child's graduation in June, as she branches into new territory, carrying with her the torch of academic excellence and high moral standards that she received throughout her tenure at St. Elizabeth's.

We have been a part of St. Elizabeth s for almost 20 years, and our children have spent their precious formative years in a school where faith and morality are taught and modeled every day. But in the past several years our new principal s vision has taken this school to new heights: he has enhanced all aspects of an already strong academic program; he has retained extremely dedicated and talented teachers in every subject; he has broadened the scope of counseling and student support positions; and his assistant principal and staff are outstanding. He brings a true Christian atmosphere to the school with his constant mantra of kindness and respect for all, coupled with students daily prayer and regular participation in the sacraments. The parents are involved and friendly, and all this nourishes the seeds of faith and learning in our children. We thank the very special teachers whose faith and hard work have passed wonderful gifts on to our children, and believe St. Elizabeth's sets a very high standard for Catholic education.

We have four children and have been at St. Elizabeth School for the past 11 years. Two of our children are in local Catholic high schools and are doing very well. They each differ in their social and academic needs yet all of their needs have been met due to the dedication of St. E's teachers and Principal. Great teachers who truly care, wonderful leadership, and involved community. I highly recommend it!

Our two sons, a first-grader and a third-grader, love St.E's and we do too. We know from experience that our boys are receiving a top-notch education in a faith-filled school community. The principal, the teachers, the staff, are caring and supportive of the children. They set an example for students that goes well beyond the classroom and informs their lives as growing Catholic Christians. We consider ourselves blessed to have such a school for our sons.

As I am anticipating my son's graduation from Gonzaga High School, I've spent much time reflecting on how the experiences of his past have affected who he is today; a smart, funny, kind, just and mature young man ready to take on the world. Of course, I have to say that his experience at St. Elizabeth school from K to 8 was probably the most important factor in his formation prior to high school both academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. His experience as a student at St. E's (probably the best Catholic elementary school in the Washington DC archdiocese and which has the best principal) gave him the best foundation he needed to achieve in high school. Even today, 4 years after he's left St. E's, I meet his former teachers who always ask how he is and offer their continued prayers. As we hear often in the news today about the plight of our educational system around the country, I am always thankful that my son had the great gift of a Catholic education from St. Elizabeth school. Thank-you St. E's!

Both my kids have attended St. Elizabeth Catholic School since Kindergarten. The school provided, and continues to provide the caring and learning environment that my kids have come to love and enjoy. The current principal s leadership and involvement has been key to the success of the St. E s experience for my kids. Bullying is not tolerated at the school - and has never been an issue for both my kids (K-8). My kids have forged strong lasting relationships with so many classmates over the years, thanks to the positive and inclusive culture in the classrooms. We are proud and fortunate to part of the St. Elizabeth community!

We have been fortunate enough to be at St. Elizabeth's for over 10 years now. We have 3 boys, all very different, in both their academic and social styles. We have found that the teachers are very accomodating to the different ways of learning, if needed, and have pulled out the best in our boys. They are nuturing and communicative with us about any concerns they may have. The leadership demands respect from these children, which is a breath of fresh air these days. Most importantly, the teachers, principal and staff show our children how to walk in Christ's footsteps everyday. The children are held accountable for their actions, both academically and socially. The community that is at this school cannot be compared to any around. We truly feel like one big family. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we have had here, and feel truly belssed to be a part of it.

We have been at St. Elizabeth's for the past 12 years. Two of our children have graduated and are now attending Georgetown Prep. Our daughter is currently attending St. Elizabeth's. Our boys at Georgetown Prep are doing very well which is a credit to the challenging academic education they received while attending St. Elizabeth's. They have fond memories of the their teachers and friendships during their time at St. Elizabeth's .The teachers have the support of their Principal and Vice Principal which results in a strong, academic curriculum. The faith based education at St. Elizabeth's encourages the students to participate in outreach in the community, promotes good values and kindness towards others. St. Elizabeth's is an excellent school which provides a strong foundation for the spiritual, social and academic well being of all their students!

We transferred to St. Elizabeth School two years ago and it was the best decision we have ever made. We were concerned that our 7th grade daughter would have a difficult time adjusting, but after the first week of school, you would have never known that she was "the new kid"...the students were exceptionally welcoming and the teachers incredibly supportive. She has thrived at St. Elizabeth's. The same is true for my other daughter who transferred in 3rd grade. Academically, based on my experience, I believe the school is one of the best in the area. It is because of the education that she has received at St. Elizabeth that my daughter is well prepared for high school. I am constantly in awe of their principal who truly loves his students. I was a chaperon on his trip to NYC with his 8th grade class and I witnessed first hand how much his students and teachers respect and admire him. He promotes a faith filled environment and even encourages the parents of the school to pray the rosary with him during "carpool pickup"! Overall, I can't say enough about St. Elizabeth's, my daughters are blossoming there.

We have 4 children at St. Elizabeths. We tranferred to the school 2 years ago from another school in the ADW. That was the best decision I have ever made for my children. Academically St. E's is very challenging and all of my children are thriving. The religious aspect is exceptional as well. It is a wonderful community of faith filled families, teachers and staff. The principal is extremely active in all aspects of the school. Carpool drop off, sporting events, and field trips. St. Elizabeths is well worth the sacrifice my husband and I make for our children to receive an amazing catholic education. I highly recommend St. Elizabeths if you are considering a Catholic School.

We transferred to St. Elizabeth from a public school when our kids were in 4th and 6th grade. We opted to move them due to the classroom chaos, lack of respect for authority, and red tape involved with our local public school. We have never regretted the move! The principal and staff at St. Elizabeth's promote a faith-based environment of warmth, respect, and expectations of excellence. One of our children experienced some "new kid" issues but this was dealt with swiftly and strongly. We were quite surprised with the response and lack of tolerance. Sadly, bullying is everywhere despite what everyone's best efforts are put forth to educate and prevent it. What matters is the reaction by staff when the situation may arise. I am pleased to say we have not had problems since. The staff is amazing as is their fearless leader who gives his all to the kids. St. Elizabeth Catholic School has been a wonderful move for this family with zero regrets!!

St. Elizabeth's is a place we call home. We currently have two attending and our third will be sure to follow in a few years. We could not be happier with the team of teachers. They make it very comfortable and fun experience for our children to learn. There is a tremendous about of respect for the teachers, parents and students. I love the fact that religion is just a part of their everyday life so it naturally because a part of life for our family at school and home. Any questions I've ever had have been taken very seriously and I've received a response right away. We have a huge parent involvement both in school and sports. I would recommend St. Elizabeth's to my family or friends. I ve spoken with some family friends and cannot believe the difference between our schools. When we walk through the door each day we are greeted with a huge welcome whether it s the wonderful principal or a staff member. We look forward to many years ahead with St. Elizabeth s.

St. Elizabeth School is head and shoulders above the other private schools in the area, primarily due to the strong leadership of the Principle. He is active in every aspect of the school. Our children, who have been at St. Ez's for several years now receive hand written notes (frequently) from the Principle....he takes the time to 'know' each child and understand their ability and areas that need focus or continued development. Tests come home with notes from the Principle...I am amazed at the time he puts into 'his' school. He actively addresses any bullying or 'nasty' behavior. School life is wonderful. Our children embrace the religion and have developed friendships with the other children as well as their teachers. For those seeking a top notch education, with a strong Catholic background St. Elizabeth's is the place to send your child.

We have been extremely pleased with St Elizabeth School. Someone in an ealier post alleged that there is an ongoing bullying issue. Nothing could be further from the truth. Trust me, we brought our kids to St Elizabeth's to escape pervasive and unaddressed bullying in another private school. We would not have stayed had we encountered more of the same. Our kids are spread throughout 3 different grades and there has been no bullying issue here. The children are down to earth, well mannered, smart and happy. The administration is serious and proactive. The academics are most impressive. This is a terrific school which I would not hesitate to recommend.

The teachers at Saint E's are awesome. The principal is terrific as is all of the staff. I have learned so much in my time there. My class is the most wonderful group of friends anyone could ask for. As I get ready to graduate my only fear is that I will never experience such a great group of friends with such great teachers again. The teachers are strict but always ready to help you to make sure you succeed. And all of students always have each others' backs. I really can't say more than that I Love Saint E's and Thank You!

After 10 years of being a parent at St. Elizabeth School I am always awestruck at the hundreds of eager, happy faces, talking and laughing as they stream into the school when the doors open at 8am. The academic program is excellent as I have two children who have gone on to excel at Washington DC Catholic high schools. My third child still attends this school. The dedication of the teachers is undeniable. The school counselor is dynamic with her informative talks and workshops for parents, good citizen awards, peacemakers at recess, hosting group lunches to boost friendships etc. The older children are peered with younger children for the many school wide activities making this school more like a family than a school. Even the cafeteria staff enthusiastically decorate the cafeteria for different holidays to make lunch time exciting. I have witnessed first hand the parent community coming together to aid families who are going through a difficult time. I owe much to this school.

St. Elizabeth Catholic School is fantastic! The teachers are top notch. They challenge each student to reach their potential. I've always been impressed that they often use their lunch time or spare time after school to help the student that needs a little extra help. The principal is phenomenal. He is very involved and knows not only each student but he knows how each child is doing in all of their classes. He often sends a note to an individual student to praise them or encourage them. He knows just what the student needs. The parents are the most supportive community you could find. They are always willing to volunteer their time because they believe in the outstanding and faith-filled education their children are receiving. We love being part of this community.

All three of my sons have attended St. Elizabeth School. I have been at the school since 1995. The school has prepared my children well for High School and beyond. Any academic or social issues that I brought to the attention of the principal, teachers or administration have been addressed immediately and fairly. There is a no bullying policy at the school and any incidents that do occur are addressed immediately. The principal knows each and every family and positively motivates the children by creating a culture of academic , social and religious inclusion. I could not be more happier with my Children's expereinces. Each of my boys had different academic and social needs and they were all addressed by the faculty.. The faculty at St. Elizabeth do not just do good work, they do great work, all the time keeping spiritual values in the forefront. The relationships built at St. Elizabeth are life long. My son's teachers continuely ask about my older son's and how they are progressing in college and High School. I highly recommend this school.

ST E's is a wonderful school. The principal and vice principal are fully engaged in the academic, social and religious development of the students. The principal is approachable and personable and well respected by the students and parents. He has done wonders at this school and turned it into what i think is the best elementary/middle school within the ADW. We have two girls with very different learning styles and both have flourished!

We began our experience at St. Elizabeth almost six years ago and are looking forward to the next nine years there. Having been an elementary school teacher myself, I am extremely aware of the kind of education I want my children to receive and the best environment in which to receive it. There was no other choice for us but St. E's! St. Elizabeth is staffed with caring, loving, compassionate, experienced professionals from the administrators to the custodians. The teachers keep the children involved and engaged and also support them in their individuality. In addition to their outstanding academic curriculum and religious education, there is a zero tolerance policy on bullying. The principal at St. E's is fair and kind, and would never stand for a child being bullied for one second. All of the students and staff are well aware of this policy and that bullying simply will not be permitted. This is so important to me as a parent since we can't be with our children all the time and know everything that goes on during their school day. My children have thrived in this academically challenging and socially accepting environment. I highly recommend St. Elizabeth.

I have had at least one child at St. Elizabeth for over 10 years now. My son graduated two years ago and is doing very well in High School because of St E's strong curriculum. He has great memories of the friends (both teachers and students) that he made there. My other two children are having the same experience. It is a very academic environment, but the teachers go out of their way to make sure that no one falls behind. They meet with kids individually l for supplemental learning, if needed. It is not unusual for me to receive an email from a teacher if there is a concept in a class that my child doesn't understand with an offer to help them during lunch the next day. The principal also plans events like the NYC trip, Christmas pageant, school plays, and student/teacher volleyball and softball games so that they leave the school with some great memories. They have zero tolerance for bullying and really promote friendships and kindness by pairing older students with younger "buddies". I highly recommend this school for the great experience your child will have and also for the great, lifelong friendships that you will make as a parent.

I have twins that have been at St Elizabeth school for 8 years, and they would not trade this experience for anything! We have AMAZING TEACHERS, and UNBELIEVABLE STAFF! I feel my children have had the best experience academically, socially and morally. Everyone is like family. It's funny my children were in the car the other day with several of their classmates, just talking about the day as they always do, and one of the kids said, "I Love This School" and they all agreed with a "Me too" That's a statement that makes any parent feel really good! If your looking for a great school, come see for yourself!!!

I have two children who have gone through the school and two still there. My experiences have been uniformly positive. The teachers are great -- hardworking, caring, and supportive. Since the arrival of the current principal several years ago and with the help of the current assistant principal, the academic curriculum is stronger than ever and graduates go onto attend the most competitive private and public high schools. Great school spirit! In addition to the academics, there is strong support for all kind of children and learners, with a full-time counselor and full-time resource teacher on staff.

I currently have three children attending St. Elizabeth School. My oldest daughter graduated last year and is doing well in an academically-challenging Catholic High School. I attribute much of her academic and social success in HIgh School to the excellent education and catholic foundation she received while at St. Elizabeth. The teachers and administration our top-rate. The St Elizabeth community is faith-based, loving and very close. Kids and parents make very good, long-lasting friendships. All the children are given the attention they need both in and outside the classroom. The school has a very strict zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying, and the administration takes this very seriously. I truly can't say enough about this wonderful school. It has exceeded all our expectations.

St. Elizabeth is a one-of-a-kind place. Phenomenal teachers and staff! Through the monthly outreach programs, children from a very early age learn what compassion is all about. Quarterly awards are given out to students that have displayed tremendous compassion and kindness to their classmates. The principal has created a peace keepers program that teaches the older children how to help the younger children resolve disagreements. I know first hand that any issue, large or small, academic or social, is dealt with immediately. Today was a perfect day to really see what St. E s is all about --- the much anticipated volleyball match between the Teachers and Eighth Graders! School spirit and camaraderie shook the gym. This event is just one of many ways St. E s builds life long bonds between classmates, the teacher s and the families.

Our only regret about St E's is that they don't have a high school. We moved our oldest son to the school after the principal at his ES told him that "he was not worth her time". He did have some problems but the teachers and principal (our son can probably describe every detail of his office after so many visits) at St E's worked with us. After the first year we moved our other three children to the school. As for the oldest one now in high school, he has a 4.1 GPA and is an awesome student, thanks to his experience at St E's. Montgomery County, MD public schools (especially in the Potomac area) have a very good reputation. If we are still willing to pay tuition at St E's, there has to be a good reason!

We have had children at St. Elizabeth's for the past 7 years and will be there for another 8. The experience we have had with each child, who have very different learning styles, has been amazing. When discussing curriculums with friends from other catholic schools, there is no comparison at how prepared our students are for HS. The social aspects and "no bullying" policy that is upheld at the school are very strong. Things like "peacekeepers" at recess (older students at younger grades recess to help work through any issues that may come up on the playground) to grade specific workshops developed by the full-time guidance counselor that discuss friendship, kindness and catholic values. The principal and school has put a lot of time and effort into teaching our children academic as well as personal excellence. We couldn't be happier with St. Elizabeth's school and all it has to offer our children.

We have been members of the St Elizabeth community for over five years now and our children have grown both academically and spiritually, and have been blessed with a foundation rich in kindness and compassion. The teachers at St E's are exceptional and work hard to promote the right values while driving academic excellence. In addition, St E's principal, Mr. Spadoni, is one of the most compassionate people that I know, he is very connected to the day-to-day operation of the school, is always available to talk and listen, and promotes zero tollerance for anything remotely close to inappropriate behavior. Mr. Spadoni and staff - thank you for all that you do - I know that our children are in good hands!

We've been members of the St. E.'s community for 7 years now and are planning on 10 more - we can't imagine another school in the area living up to the standard of excellence we have consistently experienced at St. E.'s. Our oldest child was shy and unsure of himself when he came to St. E.'s, but during his years there he was treated with kindness and respect by both faculty and students, allowing him to come out of his shell and make life-long friendships, and to learn how to advocate for himself in the classroom. His study skills are those of a much older student, and during the process of applying to high schools we constantly heard from admissions staff how highly regarded the students who come from St. E.'s are. Furthermore, the foundation in faith at St. E.'s is REAL. We are so thankful that our kids spend the day in an environment that promotes and models kindness, grace, love, service and family. When our family has suffered a loss or is enduring a hard time, we hear from our principal and our teachers directly and we know that whatever support we may need is there for us. We consider ourselves so fortunate to have discovered St. E.'s, and can't recommend it highly enough.

I have 3 kids at St. E's and I absolutely love the school. We have been here for 4 years. We moved from public school not just for a GREAT education but to put our kids in an environment whether accountability matters. Where kids are taught to treat each other with respect, to become children of good character, and to achieve their highest potential. The teachers, the staff, and the principal make the school a wonderful environment for learning, socializing, raising concerned citizens and over-achievers. And the most important part of all - is that the parent involvement at St. E's is so big that we all know what is happening the lives of our children every day. Who wouldn't what that?

If you value strong leadership, a caring and nurturing environment along with teachers and staff who have a genuine interest in your children, then St. Elizabeth's is an exceptional choice. Both my children have blossomed at St. Elizabeth's and I attribute this to the principal, who sets the tone, right down to the all the staff members. It is a vibrant community! When you walk in everyone knows your name, kids are smiling and there is an energy unlike any other school we have been to. We highly recommend St. Elizabeth's!!

We have three girls at St. E's and could not be happier. When Mr. Spadoni returned to the school to become principal in 2005, it jumped from a very good parochial school to a top-tier school. He holds everyone to a very high standard and demands excellence of the teachers and staff...in imparting knowledge, encouraging curiosity, fostering creativity, and instilling Christian values. Our girls absolutely love the school (even though it is more challenging than most). Our public school, which is one in the best in Montgomery County, is only a block from our house, but we choose to send our kids to St. E's because it is a far better environment for them to become well-educated while growing in their faith. The school is very warm and family-oriented and reaffirms the values we try to teach in our home. We have no doubt that our kids are receiving a great foundation for high school as well as for life.

Where do I begin? This school has provided the academic setting to allow my children to thrive. The faculty, staff and principal are the absolute best and when you are paying extra for education, this is a must! If you are looking for a place that provides academic excellence and a solid catholic foundation, this is the place for you and your child. My children are growing into confident, faith driven, intelligent and happy people, due to their time spent at St. Elizabeth School!!

Our son and daughter have attended St. Elizabeth s school since Kindergarten. I cannot express enough the positive, fostering, caring, and compassionate environment St. E s provides on a daily basis to all students. The principal, teachers and staff are always engaged and tuned into everything going on at the school ..something you can t find at too many schools these days. When the principal arrived at the school about 6 years ago one of the first things he did was to institute a no bullying campaign and outlined in an open letter his expectations for student behavior towards each other. As a result we can see the direct impact of the students being inclusive and establishing strong friendships. My family has nothing but positive comments and experiences at St. Elizabeth s. The school not only provides a strong environment for academic excellence but also the tools and resources for student development and growth. St. Elizabeth s is more than just a school it s an amazing charitable community!

Both of my children are students at Saint Elizabeth's and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are all top notch. The principal knows each and every student personally, greeting them by name when he sees them in the hallway. The kids are very polite and respectful. Academically, St. Elizabeth is way above the rest. For us, there is no other choice but St. Elizabeth School. GO SAINTS!

Two of my children began at St. E's last year, entering as a 2nd and 3rd grader. Our experience has been wonderful! My children love the teachers, staff and their fellow students, they never want to miss a day. The principal is outstanding...... he brings out all the best in all he touches. He made us feel welcome from the first day. Academically, the school is top notch. The combination of the fun......celebrating holidays, special days and holy days, makes for perfect learning environment. I come from an education background, and I am so happy with supportive staff on every level at St. E's. We look forward to our 3rd child to begin in the fall!

This school has a warm and caring staff, dedicated to providing the best possible academic and spiritual education for the students. It never rests on its laurels, however, because the administrative team works closely with the faculty to address the needs of all the students in a way I have not experienced at any other school. I am proud to be a teacher at St. Elizabeth School!

My four children attended St. Elizabeth Catholic School from kindergarten through eighth grade, our youngest finishing this year. This school provides not only academic excellence, but love and support for ALL students. Each child is looked upon as a child of God. Every boy and girl is taught as the individuals they are. My children left St. Elizabeth's with a feeling of self-worth, and they each have extremely strong, well-founded, moral values. They have gone on to be giving, loving, productive, and successful young adults. I absolutely attribute this to what they were taught at home, but also to what they learned at St. Elizabeth. For these same reasons I became a teacher there. I love my students. I demand that they treat one another with the love and respect that God expects from them. Bullying is an issue in every school. It is absolutely NOT tolerated at St. Elizabeth. Any type of bullying is acted upon immediately by our principal and administrative staff, including our school counselor. I would not have sent my children anywhere else. St. Elizabeth will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and in the hearts of my children.

We have been part of the St Elizabeth s community for over 10 years. What makes the school experience so well rounded are the teachers, the leadership and the families in this community. While there is no perfection in any setting, it is clear that the issues that do come up are addressed respectfully. St. Elizabeth s academic excellence is notable. But their intent to develop a well-rounded child from all aspects is also noted and focused on. Despite the size of the school there is a personable experience the staff bring. And even though there are kids who have challenges, as in any setting, I have seen appropriate boundaries established from the top. It seems that the school personal are always evaluating what is important, how to address the core issues of a child and their development and how to respond appropriately. I look forward to the idea that this community welcomes my feedback on how to make this school the best it can be for our children and our selves.

St. Elizabeth School is a special place where lifelong friends are made and academics are a high priority. By the time my youngest of four children graduates (all have attended St. E's from K-8), I will have spent a combined 25 years at St. E's both as a parent, and student and I wouldn't trade those years for anything! The teachers are topnotch! They are caring individuals who foster a love for learning and prepare their students well for high school and beyond. The leadership at the school, from our dynamic principal on down, is the epitome of professionalism, but the administration also truly cares about each individual child and their experiences, both social and academic. There is ZERO tolerance for bullying, and this is not just lip service at St. E's. Bullies are called to task quickly and justly. The school has strong parent support as well. Parents can be seen daily at the school helping in every facet of the school day, from working at recess to assisting in art class, to serving hot lunch. The sense of community runs very deep at St. E's. For all these reasons I cannot imagine sending my kids to elementary or middle school any where else!

St. E's has some great teachers who care about their students success. That being said, the students themselves are less than accountable for their behavior. Bullying has been a major problem in this school for years, without much intervention from staff. If your child is not the cookie-cutter social butterfly, this is not the school for you. My older brother and I were subject to bullying during our time at St. E's, and our youngest brother is going through the same horrible experience now. We're strongly considering transferring him to public school. Good teachers that actually try to keep students in order are fired because of complaining parents. The result: total chaos in the classroom.

I am have been pleased with my son's experience this year. He was terrified to go to kindergarten and to attend a new academic setting, but from the first day of school, his teacher and the principal made sure that he felt comfortable and appreciated. The prinicipal has always called him by name. The principal even sends postcards to the students if they need a little added encouragement or just to offer praise for a job well done.
