my child is in the deaf and hard of hearing program and mainstreamed for part of the day in Kindergarten....went to school for preschool as well. Outstanding Principal, front office staff, dedicated & creative teachers in DHOH program, well organized and bright - doesn't feel like a typical MCPS institutional/factory school. Small class sizes, good school spirit...undiscovered gem in Mont. County

They have an awesome Peace Program, Anti-Bullying campaign, they are a Green School, and they have one of the most personable Principals I have ever known. She greets each student personally at the door every morning and is open to all students who wish to consult with her. Her staff is great as well.

Excellent school. The principal is amazing - very hardworking, knows every child in the school and cares deeply about the kids, staff and school. Teachers are great - enthusiastic, driven, and great educators. Small class sizes (my son had 14 kids in his kindergarten class, 17 in 1st grade and 18 in 2nd grade), helps kids to excel and get individualized attention. School was renovated in early 2000s and is beautiful. A top school in Montgomery County.

This school is the best! The education level for any child is their top priority. The teachers and staff are very supportive. Our principal is very involved in the students education. If you are relocating and looking for a good school RCV should be on your list.
