West Salisbury Elementary School

Fabulous leadership from the prinicipal. School nurse and teachers are knowledgeable and friendly. Very welcoming for guests and parents, but are very strict about signing in at office to step into school. Looking out for safety of students is comforting to parents. Need to have Board of Ed. do something about the air conditioning situation. None in classrooms is difficult especially for child with asthma. Overall a very pleasant school and staff.

This is a wonderful school. The staff seem very patient and caring. The teachers are very professional. The reading program is excellent and encourages the parents to become more involved with the students progress. Also the school nurse is very well trained and takes no chances in emergency situations. The childrens safety always comes first. I would recommend this school to everyone.

i think its unfair that the class rooms and through out the school doesnt have AC but the front office does....something needs to be done...plus all i got from the front office anytime i visited was plan out right attitude personally i think this school is awful!!!!!

West Salisbury Elementary is one of the best schools I believe in the county. They have a very caring staff, who not only care about how much the children are learning, but also about their complete well-being. They all have excellent teaching skills and work well together. The reading program at the school is one of the finest in the county. I would recommend this school to all parents. It's wonderful!
