My daughter has been in WiHi since 2008. She is now a Junior taking all AP classes. My family's experience with this school, from a parent and student perspective, has been positive. We've enjoyed the support of excellent teachers. My daughter has been selective in her choice of friends. I saw genuine enthusiasm in all of the teachers that I met with at the last PTSA meeting. I definitely think that WIHI has many useful resources. It is up to each family and each student to find the value in their education and WiHI.

We have tons of school spirit, and many kids who really care about their education. We have a principal that really cares and some really fantastic teachers. I did not see a fight my whole junior year. Wihi is the most premier school!

wi-hi offers many AP classes, extra curriculum activities, and some very dedicated teachers. however, there are many disciplinary problems with students, and some 'burn-out' teachers that makes this school a hard enviroment to like at times. parenting involvement is minimum. even though i believe that an individual can succed in this school (as many do), it is not a school that i would recomend in general.

Well, I'm not exactly some parent, I used to go to that school as an exchange student. I have to say that I loved going to Wihi, everyone was very welcoming, and I found friends extremely fast. It was an awesome experience!

It is a very nice school and shows the students a variety of things and also tries to involve every student within the school in school activites

Overall Wicmoico High School is a good school. The office staff is wonderful (which is good since they are your 1st impression of the school). I do feel there are a few teachers (more than I would like to admit) that are not interested in teaching children. It is just a paycheck or as one teacher tells his story I did not come here to teach children I came to coach football. How encouraging! On the flip side we have wonderful teachers that peak your child's interest at all times and actaully are serious about preparing them for college. The staff that is invlved in the disciplinary actions at Wi-Hi are wonderful at their jobs and do an outstanding job as far as trying to stay pro-active. The ones involved are staff that the children can relate to. Even though my children have not had any contact with these people for the wrong reasons they hear 'the stories' and speak well of them. Overall the school is as good as any other school in the county. They all have good and bad points as well as staff and I do not know of anything in life that makes anyone 100% happy 100% of the time. Especially when it comes to ypur children. Afterall, we all want to have nothing but the best for our children and their future.
