Excellent teachers in a caring environment. My son loves this school (6th grade) and feels free to ask questions in a relaxed classroom atmosphere. Teachers will go out of their way to help a child if needed and to make learning interesting and fun. Worth every penny of the tuition.
We had been looking for a school like this for a long time: one that teaches our children to truly understand what they're taught, not just to memorize information. The Salisbury School is a caring, tolerant environment which prepares children to be lifetime learners. Its small size does not prevent students from pursuing a variety of advanced level courses. The math curriculum is excellent.
We could not be happier with The Salisbury School. The environment is one of a kind, the teachers and faculty are magnificent and our son is flourishing. You will not find a more engaging place for students anywhere - and we looked everywhere. 100% college placement was an important factor for us. Discipline is not a problem at TSS and the way that they interact the older students with the younger students in a mentoring capacity is fabulous. It is certainly an investment but what is more valuable than your kids?! Not many realize that financial aid is available and many parents take advantage of this. I recommend The Salisbury School to everyone I know who has school-aged children. It is truly a special place.
We are so happy that our son was accepted here. We got him into Pre-K and plan to stay all the way through high school. The teachers are amazing, the administrators enthusiastic and involved and the parents really gung-ho. There are tons of creative and specialized classes and extra-curricular activies, including a terrific summer program. Check it out, you will be blown away!
We moved to Salisbury when our daughter was in the 5th grade. It was a difficult transition. The teachers and headmaster at Salisbury School are outstanding and worked hard to keep us involved and make our daughter feel comfortable. This is a great school!
This is the best private school in the area. The environment is safe and the teachers are committed to enabling the students to become individual thinkers. Class sizes are small and the faculty encourages alot of parental involvement. An A+ school.
