My daughter loves going to school. When we started she could not wait to stay the entire day. She is doing really well and loves her computer lab, spanish class & club, music, art, reading and math. She amazes us with the progress she is making.
I love Robert Goddard Montessori School because of the great staff. I have been around this staff since my children were of the age of 3, the oldest one is now 14. Since the beginning of my journey at this school the staff and wonderful teachers have been nothing but great. It is to my attention that Robert Goddard Montessori School is trying to add a high school into their building. This $20,000 dollars would be excellent funding for it.
The high level of parental involvement makes this school super successfull. It is one of the most diverse schools in prince georges county. The kids learn not only top adademic but how to be good citizens and to respect our enviornment.
Robert Goddard Montessori is a great school! Our youngest transferred into Dr. Feely's class in 2nd grade from a public Minneapolis Montessori school. He is now in the Middle School. The teachers are committed and skilled, and go way above the norm. There are so many varied learning experiences at Goddard- many enriching field trips. The parents all work together to help wherever needed. Due to a few corporate moves, our boys have been in 8 different schools, two of which were private Montessori schools, and Robert Goddard rates right up there with the private school experiences.
Robert Goddard is an outstanding school that truly cares about each and every student's full potential. They seek to educate not just the intellect, but the entire child.
The teachers and administrators at Robert Goddard are the best I've ever seen. Each one is dedicated to the not only each child's education, but overall welfare too. They even attend family and public functions where they know their students will be involved! If ever there was a school that deserved to be rewarded for that kind of dedication, it's Robert Godard Montesorri School!
My children have had an awesome experience @ RGMS. Ms. Crisman is an awesome primary educator, Dr Feely is a teacher who knows how to teach 1st, 2nd & 3rd year students. These two teacher provided a wonderful foundation for my children to be successful as they move on in their education lives.
Now that I'm in 9th grade, I'm extemely prepared thanks to my middle school teachers. I couldn't make it this year through Algebra 2 if Mrs. Henry hadn't given us so many math problems in Algebra 1 last year =P. I met most of my friends in montessori in kindegarten-3rd grade, I'm happy I got to stay with them through middle school. The '08 graduation was devastating as we went to different schools. =[. Mr. Gillis is awesome!!! best orchetra teacher ever, i started with him in 4th grade, he led us to festivals which I am proud to say we won first place! Though some middle school teachers put us through hell, I'm sure we can all say they rocked... well most ;D just kidding all! I love you guys good luck RGMS kids here and to come!
this is an excellent school that I am happy to say I was apart of. The middle school teachers are especially great and they put our needs first. Now that I am going to 9th grade in two days, I have an advantage at learning fundamentals others wouldn't have known. I love this school!
This school has been a blessing. My son is now in middle school; my daughters in the upper elementary program -- and all started in Pre-K. The teachers in general are genuinely concerned about their students and go above and beyond to work with our children. The school leadership under Ms. Johnson and Ms. Schwab are unmatched. The parent involvement is amazing. It is truly a private school education in a public school!
