Orms rules!! Everywhere you look someone is smiling at you or saying hello. Both the principal and the vice principal are nice, but also give out strict punishments.

What really gets me about this school is how rude the office staff is. They are barely helpful and have such poor telephone manners. They speak to adults as children. I've also had bad experiences with the principal. She is very abrupt and curt. I've heard nightmare stories about her from other parents too. On the flip side, the teachers are amazing. If I call in to speak to a teacher...once I get past the rude office staff, the teacher is kind, understanding a professional.

Oklahoma Road Middle School has been an excellent experience for my child. Most of the teachers she's had have been wonderful, dedicated professionals. There have only been a few exceptions, one of whom is no longer at the school. Several teachers have even reached out to my daughter and encouraged her to get involved in school clubs and activities. The quality of academics seems good, with not nearly as much 'teaching to the tests' as we've experienced in elementary school. The teachers and Principal are very involved in school activities and even had a wonderful act in the school wide talent show. At the same talent show we were very impressed with the student body, as they cheered and clapped loudly for EACH act, not just the popular kids. ORMS is a Great School.

The school is great good teacher and supporting principals. When my child attended they were friendly but the office was very unfriendly and mean and not wanting to help us out. I think it is average and also its a little dirty and dingy.

I was so disapointed with the school system it is hard to put into words. The teachers as well as the Principal gave no support at all to my child. This was absolutely the worst educational experience in my childs life. Not only did they make my child feel as though he was always in the wrong, they made me the parent feel as though I was not welcome in their school. Anytime I went to them with a problem they made me feel as if I was wasting their time. My child's self esteem defintely declined. Now, we have moved to a different State and I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful difference it has made. My child even volunteers to help out at the school. When I enter our new school I am welcomed with friendly faces.
