The school teaches according to what's on the tests and nothing more. School scores great in Math on state tests but noone ever wants to talk about their scores on National Standard Achievement Tests. Not enough focus on the basics or much homework given. More and more time is being taken away from time spent in the classroom learning and added to specials like PE and male bonding. Caring, supportative and dedicated staff but many ineffective teachers. PTA is a social fundraising group only. No involvement in educational concerns. Great parent involvement in the school. Nice fairly new facilities, with all the educational supplies needed and then some.

Excellent school where the teachers look at each student individually. Great with parents and students alike. Test scores have been great and the school is still new!

I have two children at Linton Springs. I am very pleased with the level of involvement from teachers and the administration. I believe that my children are challenged and are in a very healthy environment. The school is blessed with many parent volunteers and has a great variety of activities in arts, sciences and sports.

Linton Springs has just about everything going for it. My youngest will finish fifth grade this year, and in some ways I wish he could stay. Some of the things I love include the talented staff, the remarkable level of parent volunteer support, the great facilities, the wonderful support staff and the absolutely fabulous adminstrations. My son had some problems adjusting in second grade, and ended up requiring lots of intervention and special help, and eventually medication. The staff worked with us throughout and were supportive even when he must have driven them crazy. My other son has special needs, and he received consistent and appropriate services for the two years he was there, which contributed to his successful middle school transition.
