This district is the flag ship of idiocy that has gripped the nation. Suspending two 6 year old children for using their fingers as guns while playing during recess is just asinine. Now that these children have been branded, punished and labeled problem children both mentally and publicly by a court of idiots (yes, you people with your doctorates are morons) maybe they will pay back the favor someday when their hormones are raging and they don't know how to rationalize and work out their problems. At least the district didn't take away their guns by chopping off their little fingers. Morons...

Our two kids have had a great experience with the school. My oldest who will be a third grader has had three really good teachers. Class sizes are almost the same as private schools in the area and their is a lot of parent and community involvement. E&I programs give kids the opportunity to get into small ability groups and learn at their own pace and parents are allowed to volunteer in their children's classes. We have class moms for all the classes and adopt the classroom programs. We participate in the box tops for education program and collectively raise mooney for the school. The nicest teachers around.

White Marsh is a fantastic school. The teachers and staff are great. Parent involvement is strongly encouraged. I have two boys who are there and their experiences have been great. They both love school and love learning.

White Marsh sets the standard for education in Talbot County. I have two daughters there and both are having a wonderful experience. The staff is caring and involved. The PTO is also very active and adds so much to the feeling of community at White Marsh.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Maryland used the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and grades 5 and 8 in science.
