I LOVE IFPCS. MY SON CAME TO IMAGINE LAST YEAR IN FIRST GRADE AFTER BEING RETAINED AT A PREVIOUS SCHOOL. I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT MY SON HAS CAUGHT UP AND SURPASSED THE ABILITIES OF OTHER STUDENTS AT HIS PREVIOUS SCHOOL, COMPARATIVELY SPEAKING. MY DAUGHTER IS ABOVE GRADE LEVEL IN ALL AREAS AND CONTINUES TO IMPROVE. MY SON USED TO BE VERY INTIMIDATED AND TURNED OFF ABOUT SCHOOL UNTIL HE CAME TO IMAGINE. I CAN SAY THAT THE TEACHERS TRULY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR CHILDREN. THE TEACHERS KEEP THE STUDENTS ENGAGED AND INTERESTED WHILE CONTINUALLY CHALLENGING THEIR ABILITIES. I DRIVE BOTH OF MY CHILDREN A GREAT DISTANCE TO IFPCS DAILY AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO WITHOUT REGRET. BECAUSE THE TRIP, TIME AND EFFORT IS ALL WORTH IT AND IT SHOWS.

This is great school, I am so glad my son attends this school. One of the major reasons for the success of this school is the Principal; by far he is one of the most dedicated educational professionals I have ever met. He is inspiring on so many levels. The manner in which he treats the students should be commended. I will say that there is a lot of homework at this school and I believe that is at every grade level at the school and it can be a bit overwhelming, but after a while you get used to it. If you send your child to Imagine Foundation Public Charter School you can expect them to be challenged like they have never been challenged before. If you have high academic expectations for your child then this is charter school is for you. You will find that the students are reading at high levels, the parents are involved and the teachers really push the kids. I will say that every now and then they do get a bit over zealous with reporting your child s bad behavior but I guess if you warn and talk to your kids then you are good. Other than that this school is a great school.

Imagine Foundations is an excellent school. The curriculum challenges the children. My son is learning way ahead of typical third graders. The Principal has set the bar really high for the teaching staff and for the school overall. The teachers are wonderful they re everything you'd want in a teaching staff (committed, highly qualified, intelligent, etc). The academic rigor is not for everyone. Both parents and students have to commit to A LOT of work, students are reading 300 pages novels every month and answering 30+ questions on the chapters they read on a bi weekly basis, along with monthly research paper and oral presentation. This may seem like a lot of work by US standards but we ve seen that the US is no longer the powerhouse it used to be. US students are no longer the best & brightest. Imagines' vision of preparing the students for University study is phenomenal. This vision resonates in the schoolwork, leadership, teachers and the students. Imagine students are being educated at the same level of rigor as children in China, and other Nations that have surpassed the United States standards with way fewer resources.

Imagine Foundations is an excellent school. The leadership of this school is outstanding. My child s teachers are organized, intelligent, friendly and responsive. The building is always bright, cheery and spotless. This school is definitely not for everybody. If you are a parent that believes academics are important you will love Imagine Foundations. I love the focus on college graduation. This school believes that hard work develops intelligence and they definitely work hard and expect every child and parent to do so as well. My son has attended Imagine Foundations for four years now and I absolutely love this school. I know that my child is being prepared for the future and the advanced academics are second to none.

Imagine Foundations is an outstanding school. The leadership of this school is second to none. The building is always bright, cheery and spotless. My son s teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and well organized. I love the focus on college graduation and the advanced academics. Imagine Foundations definitely is not the school for every parent. This school is the perfect place for parents who actually believe that academics are important and that hard work develops intelligence. I know that my child is being prepared for the future. My child has attended Imagine Foundations for four years now and I am still blown away by what he is learning and our conversations at home. Imagine Foundations is easily the best public school in Prince George s County and the only school for my son.

I give the academic goals five stars. I believe that this school is striving to surpass the stigma that plagues the PGC schools. However, I think that in an effort to supass those goals the kids aren't given time to really grasp all the knowlege they are given. The kindergartners receive great learning plans, but too much homework (HOURS every night) can sway a 5 yr old whose been in school all day to push away from the idea of school. School is very awesome, but too much pressure. Slow down IFPCS!

The principal's name is Mr. Hill. The school now actually goes up to the 5th grade. The academics at this school is excellent. The kindergartners are learning at a 1st grade level. The teachers, principal, vice principal and parents are very involved in what happens at this school.
