Because they are one of the rare schools that really put students education first

My daughter attends 3rd grade at AMES and she really enjoys it! She recently transferred from school in VA, and she has adjusted so well! They really seem to care about the student's well being and give so many incentives to encourage and motivate learning in their students. Moving from VA to MD has been such a great adjustment, thanks to AMES!!

My son will be entering the third grade at Middleton this coming year and his first and second grade teachers were excellent. He had Mrs. Capuano for the 1st grade and Mrs. Conway for the 2nd grade. These two teachers are excellent and they are truly an example to those teachers that have forgotton what a rewarding career teaching can be.

My son loves kindergarten. Mrs. Gregan sends emails to the parents and she has a website that helps me talk to my son about his daily happenings. I have older children and I have never had a teacher so involved right from the 1st week of school. If all the teachers are like Mrs. Gregan we will be very happy!

My daughter loves kindergarten. Her teacher Mrs. Gregan goes above and beyond to make sure the children have fun while still meeting high expectations. She has a very good rapport with families and makes us feel very welcome and a part of our daughters learning. We hope she will teach first grade next year!

I have a son that started kindergarten this year, his teacher is Ms. Elliot. Although he has only been in school for nearly a month he loves it. His teacher encourages parental involvement and he is already working on word identification. He is excited and we are as well. His progress is tracked daily and I would recommend Arthur Middleton to parents.

We have a Kindergartner and a 5th grader that attend Arthur Middleton, so we are in the early learning and pre-middle school stages of education. We commend the staff at this school because of their commitment to educate our students while encouraging them to become ambitious people. The 5th grade team has helped our daughter tremendously; teaching her organizational skills and how to be responsible for her decisions. We are pleased the staff encourages parental support and they welcome our opinions. We applaud the staff in their challenging careers and we believe all educators are sorely underrated. Arthur Middleton has something for everyone and they will provide the best education for your child from a public school level.

My son graduated from middleton last year and we were very pleased with the 5th grade team. He was actually challenged and he had to do more than just skate through another year. Free tutoring was offered to kids who needed a little extra help. It is an open area school which the staff has no control over. I have a 4th graded now who can't wait to get to 5th due to his brothers experience. The teachers require rules to be followed and your work to be done and if these two things are met you will not have any problems. They helped make my son's transition to 5th grade very smooth. Some of the complaints in the school can easily be fixed by a little more parent involment.
