NCCS is truly a unique educational environment. Small classes, passionate amazing teachers, visionary administrators always striving to do even better for our kids, creative and engaging instruction, and deep committments to instilling good character, social responsibility, respect for differences, and connection to the natural world. And then there is the wonderful sense of community among the families! I feel so lucky that we found this gem!

NCCS is truly a diamond in the ruff. My children are not only being educated academically, but they are being molded into the incredible children that we all dream of having. NCCS teaches and reinforces not only academics, but also the things that we find important in our home....Respect, Responsibility, Gratitude, Integrity & Kindness. NCCS is amazing place to grow, learn and thrive.....not just for our children, but for us, as well!!! The NCCS community, of parents and teachers, is truly a priceless gift, that we are so proud to be a part of everyday!! We recommend this school to anyone that is looking for an incredible place for their children to learn and a place to feel like family.

What we have found in NCCS is truly an education we never knew existed a learning environment that is challenging yet focuses on individual strengths, teaches the importance of teamwork from an early age, nurtures connectedness both to people, community, and knowledge, and shows children, through example and experience, how to be responsible, productive citizens of the world. NCCS embraces and enriches our children's lives with the values, knowledge, and experiences that are important to us and, we believe, are truly the hallmarks of tomorrow's leaders.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
