Willow Park Academy continues to provide my child with a comfortable, personable, and academically challenging curriculum. My child has been a student at Willow Park Academy since she was 3 years old, in preschool, and I am quite satisfied. My 4 year old daughter is now academically performing at a kindergarten/first grade level, and has an infinate quantity of self confidence in every way. No, the school does not have a fancy website, nor does it bother the spend money on marketing to the surrounding community, because the school and parent referrals speak for themselves. One feature I wish that WP highlighted in the curriculum is technology, however I am more than pleased with her overall education and the sincere love for the children that the owners and the staff of the school exhibit.

Willow Park Academy is a great school for educational purposes, however, the tuition and timing of outgoing notices should be something the administrative staff focuses on. I enjoy the family enviroment and the feeling of when I leave my son, I know he is in a safe enviroment. My child has attended Willow Park since 2006 and is excelling in all subjects covered. This year his first grade teacher Ms. Pierre is a new comer to the school and I have to say, she is undoubtly the best teacher he's had. The previous teachers were wonderful as well but this teacher pushes my child to his full potential and gives me status updates almost everyday in addition to daily homework assignments and projects. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking to send their child to private school.

This is a great school. My 3 year old son enjoys going to school everyday and shows a lot of excitement when he receives home assignments to bring home. He's been at this school now for about a month, before going to this school he didn't know all of his letters and numbers and now exactly 1 month later he has learned his letters, number and he can write his name. I truly feel that this is a excellent evironment for any child. I am very pleased with the education my son is receiving.

Great Educational school, I have no complaints about my childs educational instruction. However, the Admin. staff seems to be very unorganized/ unprofessional ( Attitude ). Parents receive notices regarding school closing days prior to closing, (Not giving enough time for working parents to make arrangements)....the financial officer never returns telephone calls regarding tuition questions...numerous mix up with tuition payments not being credited to account. The childrens play areas/ playground has not been re-mulched in 3years and the children are filthy dirty after playing outside.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this school. My daughter began in 2007 in the Pre-K 4 class. Her teacher was Mrs. Lisa. When my daugther entered this school, she was really good with sight words and learned to read really quickly. Upon seeing her talent, she was tested and placed into a second/third grade class the next school year. Her next teacher, Mrs. Lora has been a blessing to our family. She took my daughter under her wing and never let her go. She pushes my daughter to meet her full potential at all times. The school is very small, therefore children receive excellent individual attention. It is a wonderful family atmosphere. Unfortunately, the 3rd grade teacher has fallen ill, so we have to find a new school for my daughter. When it comes to early childhood education, this school is UNMATCHABLE! It is well worth the tuition.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
