Great school, lots of parent involvement. Teachers are exceptional and the curriculum is challenging and interesting. The school also has Japanese and Chinese classes available as part of the curriculum making it different than the rest of the elementary schools in the district. The focus is on diversity and respect as well as education. The school focuses on the basics plus science, math challenges, foreign languages, and creative pursuits. Top notch principal in Dr. Whitbeck. High scores on standardized tests.

I'm a kid and I think Douglas is awesome! At my old school I didn't like to learn. Here I'm getting 100s on my tests! Chose this school, you'll love it!
