This is a great school, but there is an elitist mindset here. If you are a working class family and new to the community you may feel like an outsider.

Marks Meadow is a first class school where kids from all over the world are immediately able to feel at home. At the same time, it is strongly embedded in the local community of North Amherst. The experienced staff are supportive of all learning levels. The principal Nick Yaffe is particularly talented at creating an atmosphere of welcome, cohesiveness and teamwork.

Marks Meadow is an excellent school. The teachers, administration and support staff are excellent. Students are known individually. There is a strong sense of community and belonging amongst all the students and families. Students with diverse learning needs are supported, challenged, and enriched here.
