We love Bishop School. There is a great community of teachers, parents and students working together. The feel when you walk through the doors is of a close knit community school. Parents are welcome and invited to help through out the school, and students are encouraged to do their best and be themselves.

We love the Bishop School. The teachers are incredible and parent involvement in the school is amazing. With many cuts to funding we could have lost a lot of what makes our school great, but with creative parents and a resourceful PTO - fundraising has been very successful and we have a very broad enrichment program at the school due to this.

Excellent academic programs. Incredible amount of parent involvement. The principal facilitates parent involvement amazingly well. No afterschool activities but there is a privately run afterschool program on-site. The music program is fantastic. The art program is not as well supported and the art room is currently in a substandard space. I have been impressed with all teachers my children have had. There are many enrichment programs both in the school and outside of the school. Safety and discipline are in control and they use Open Circle which is a complete system for teaching children how to handle disagreements.
