My children attend Trinity and I have loved their experiences there. The new headmaster (as of 2009-2010 school year) has many years of leadership under his belt and has a real vision for the school.

I am going into the 10th grade now, and have been at Trininty since I was in the 5th grade. Not once have I had a bad experience at Trinity-on the contrary, this is the first school that I've ever been to that I've been accepted in and been allowed to freely express my beliefs. If I hadn't gone to Trinity, I know that I would never have gotten the strong and loving relationship with the Lord that I have now, nor would I really love Him in the same way!! I would reccomend Trinity to really anybody, but especially those who aren't fitting in anywhere else. This is a place where you can really be accepted for who you are!

Trinity had come a LONG way since it's struggling times in the late 2005 / early 2006 timeframe. They have a wonderful new 7 acre school 'campus' in Barnstable, and have since changed their official name to Trinity Christian Academy. This school has excellent teachers, and a wonderful new headmaster who replaced the recently retired 'gem' that helped Trinity through some difficult times - and in the transition to their new facility. For quality education in a sincere Christian environment where the Lord, and your children, come first ... you cannot get any better than this!

This school is the one of the hidden treasures of Cape Cod. In a society riddled with mixed moral mesages, these teachers manage to give our children the firm grounding they need to confidently stride out into the world. Incredible teachers, excellent academics, beautiful new facility and playing field, great families and a new Interium Headmaster whose heart has been with the school for decades. Small classes, 12-16 in each grade, growing sports and extracurricular program. Our family has had children attending for over a decade and wouldn't choose any other place.

Trinity was once a great school but the latest headmaster is a zealot and has driven away many families and most of the experienced teachers. The new regime at Trinity just welcomes born agains and has driven away those who are not. It is a scary place.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
