This school is on the right track after several years of bad management!
If you have a child with special needs, go to another district, because this one will not work for you, only against you. The teacher aides are the only good thing about this school, everything else is sub-par.
My son entered grade 3 at Swift River at the end of JAnuary.He was homeschool for the past two years as we lived in mexico.We are Canadian so really didn't know what to expect in the American system.He is in a class of 24 with two fantastic teachers.They were so welcoming and accommodating we couldn't have asked for better.The level of education has been outstanding and my son loves the school.He does take gym,art and music all with different teachers that specialize in those fields.There are before and after school programs.
