Clara Macy Elementary School

My son has been a student at Macy School for 4 years. We have been extremely pleased with every single one of his teachers. The principal is wonderful with both the parents and the students. There is an active PTO with plenty of opportunity for parent involvement. The staff welcomes and encourages the parents to get involved. Teachers arrange extra help sessions before and after school. They challenge the kids to do their best. It has been a great experience. This is my son's last year at Macy. We will miss the teachers, the staff and the entire Macy community. The town continues to cut our school budgets, but Macy continues to do a fantastic job.

This is my child's first year in school and I am so thrilled about his experience. We love his teachers dearly and we could not have asked for anything better. Not sure why Bellingham keeps getting low ratings but this particular school works very hard with the kids and they deserve a ton of credit. The Kindergarten teachers are saints.

I have two children in Clara Macy .The staff is very nice and they are very involved with the students in every subject. The principal is fairly new to the school . She has brought so many new ideas to the table and they are all working very well. The teachers are just great they are all for the students education. Some teachers in other schools are just there. Clara Macy teachers are not they want your children to be the best they can be.
