A 10th grade parent recently said "From the first time we walked in the door, I fell in love with it. The vibe in the halls and classes is very cool. The teachers and students respect each other and address each other more like respectful colleagues. My daughter is starting her sophomore year. A social scientist myself, I am really impressed with the social studies curriculum. As a parent, I could not ask for a better high school for our happy, independent, critical thinking, college-bound daughter.

The school has created a very warm community environment. The teachers are excellent and truly care about each student, and my teens find the curriculum interesting and sufficiently challenging. There is extra help available for students who may need it. I feel really lucky that we found a high school that emphasizes good values (meaningful community service every year, no bullying, etc.) and where both of my children could flourish. Sports are open to all regardless of ability. The students are diverse and most everyone can find some kind of niche there. The students take interesting trips in the fall and spring that interrelate with the curriculum, If you are interested, I strongly recommend having the prospective student visit to get a sense of the school and the other students.
