We are really happy with the school. Our goal was for our kindergartner to develop into a happy, confident, and strong girl. It has been great to see this happening. She loves her teachers, is excited about learning, and loves going to school each day!

This school misses the mark in terms of integrity and diversity. The administration is operating with ideals from the 1950's, which simply are not relevant in today's society and culture. My child will not be attending next year.

Shore Country Day School is a remarkable school and I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. Despite being very different learners, each of my children has thrived at Shore. Shore supports children academically, athletically and socially. Every child is encouraged to be their best and teachers lead by example. Shore is graduating intelligent, compassionate, critical thinkers. From Readiness through its unique 9th grade, Shore offers an outstanding education and I can't recommend it more highly.

Coming from another country, we wanted to find a school where our children would feel a sense of belonging. We chose Shore and could not be happier. The teachers are engaged and interested, the atmosphere in the school is stimulating and enriching and there is a closeness and familiarity within our children's peer group that is satisfying to be a part of. The education that my children are getting at Shore is thorough and all-encompassing. They delve into subjects, they have specialist teachers in subjects like art and music, and they are able to progress in areas where they show an aptitude. There is an energy at the school that makes you appreciate how worthwhile the commitment is.

I have two boys here and I couldn't be happier. They are proud to be part of a community that teaches character, respect, hardwork and fun. They are excited to go to school everyday and have wonderful relationships with the teachers and faculty.

Our son spent 8 years at Shore and our daughter is in 6th grade. Both looked forward to going school everyday. The teachers are phenominal and they make learning fun. Whenever we meet with them, I am amazed at how well they know our children. They identify what each child needs to work on and they make sure each child improves in those specific areas. It is very rewarding to see how much each of our kids matured - academically, athletically and emotionally. They are confident in who they are as a person and that confidence carries over into all aspects of their life. Shore played a big part in that development and we are very appreciative of all that the school did.

I have 3 children at Shore Country Day School. All three are happy, engaged and love learning. They look forward to going to school every day. The teachers are all accommodating, experienced, and intelligent professionals in their field. One of my children has a reading disability and the school has never given up on him. They have supported him all the way through the lower and upper school. The school has a great sense of community. There are a lot of family events and opportunities for parents to be involved. There is a lot of diversity with families coming from towns all over the North Shore. The leadership at the school is top notch. The school has surpassed all our expectations.

The Shore faculty is 110% committed to their profession and to their students. The teachers' level of dedication and their interest in understanding each student is extraordinary. Every semester I have the privilege of receiving the most articulately written and constructive report cards. My three children are thriving in this enriching academic setting which also fosters an everpresent awareness of Community Code (good citizenship). When my children talk about peer connections with their big & little buddies or they share with me highlights of fun times with faculty plus the Head of School on annual class trips, I know they are experiencing & embracing a genuine community.

I am a parent of two children at Shore. I have been, overall, pleased. My children love going to school every day--they literally never complain. The fundamental philosophy is that the body and mind need to be exercised--so your child needs to be willing to play sports every day, whether in PE or after school. Lots of recess time for little kids; lots of individualized attention, academically. Science education is outstanding at every level. I do think it would be hard for a child who is not academically strong to have staying power at this school.

The administration is terrible at this school. It seems like all they care about is the money! The parents and children are so competitive with one another and there isn't cooperation between parents and teachers. This is a school for white rich kids! Certainly not well rounded multicultural children.
