Stoneridge is an amazing school, our daughter loves to go and learns so much. I think it is doing a wonderful job preparing students for high school and college. Stoneridge is one reason for us not to move from the Northshore, we are lucky to live close to such a fantastic school.

We have been at the school for 6 years and both our children (K & G2) are doing tremendously well. They are ahead of their peers in reading, writing, arithmetic and are always complemented on their behavior and life knowledge. We are here for the long haul and are very impressed with the faculty and the program.

I have two daughters who have attended this amazing school for 10 years. They have benefitted in numerous ways beyond the excellent academic education. Their passion for learning, the ownership they feel for their work and the pride they feel for their accomplishments is so unique to this school environment. The children are so totally supportive of each other's success, which makes an emotionally safe envornment where true learning can take place!!!

Stoneridge offers a great ratio of teachers to students - my children are closely attended to and evaluated. Although rigorous about the montessori method, the school works very hard to make accomodations for students whose needs are outside the traditional montessori method. It is refreshing to watch my children take on greater challenges than they might in another school. I love that there is a clear partnership with teachers, parents and administration. My children are thriving in a smaller school setting where they are learning to get along with everyone.

I have two children at Stoneridge (grades 2 & 5) and we are Delighted. They love their school and bolt in to the front doors every morning. My science-loving son comes home full of stories about building batteries out of lemons and this year my six year old gave me a 10 minute account of how the universe, our solar system and our planet came to be. I was astounded with his level of understanding and enthusiasm for what he has accomplished. The students undergo formal assessment in many areas, including reading. I have learned that my first grader is reading at a fourth grade level! More importantly though is his pride in his own accomplishments. If you don't know what Montessori education is all about, you owe it you yourself to check it out! The faculty is superb.

I have never seen my son happier in his life. He loves this school . I am amazed at what he is learning, he is reading well in advance to where he should be. He is learning math, that I was never even introduced to until high school and he is in the first grade.
