Truly excellent teachers. I never would have thought that a public school could be so wonderful.
My son has attended the Mary Lyon school for many years. It is extremely rigid. There is little creativity in the classroom and the classes are completely task-oriented. It does not feel like a happy atmosphere to me, and if comfort and if you care about your child having fun and being happy, and not just doing well on tests, then I wouldn't reccomend it.
The Mary Lyons is an excellent school. They have provided my son with some much attention, which has boosted his confidence in himself. This new found confidence has translated into better grades and a higher level of participation in class. The school also, has an awesome afterschool program, which has clubs that the kids can change every 4 to 6 weeks.
