Mt. Hope is not just a school, it is also a community. A community where each and every teacher and staff member gets to know your child, learn their strengths and needs. They make it a priority to understand what motivates each child to reach their highest potential. As a former public school teacher and assistant principal I have had the pleasure to interact with many teachers and administrators. My experience here has been superior in each and every area. I truly feel as though the Mt. Hope community is an extended family for, not only my sons, but my husband and I as well. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing school to anyone.

Mount Hope school is not worth the money. We have a little experience with this school. While the teachers were good, the administration was awful. We have experienced difference in price of the tuition given on paper at the enrollment and the one that was send as corrected. Be careful when signing because some of the fees, costs or however they called them are not really emphasized. However the last thing that really made us decide to change the school was the Principal's speech during the first meeting with parents. She started the speech with the words that we are privileged because we now can donate the money for building the new part of the school. To say that as a first thing to the parents who are there for the first time only shows that it is all and only about the money. Of course that each and everyone of us will try to donate as much as we can considering our household budgets, because it is(was) our kids school, but there is a time, place and a way to inform us about that. It was done in a rude way.

Besides that, you couldn't donate whichever amount you wanted or were able to give- those were already assigned starting from 500 and 1000 as the lowest. I was very surprised because I thought this school out of all being the Christian school would not put the money asking "in you face". After all of that being said I don't see the need to send your child to the private schools especially in Burlington, MA which has more than solid Public school system. The word Private doesn't always mean better!

Mount Hope is a wonderful school. My child is on first grade and genuinely loves going to school and is enthusiastic about learning. The dedicated professionals all the way from the principal to the P.E. instructor care deeply about the children. Parental involvement is strongly encouraged and helps ensure your child is successful. I love the small class sizes and individual instruction that my daughter receives. I also like the emphasis on educating the WHOLE child; mind, body and spirit. I am sending my middle child to preschool there this September. It can be costly, but worth the investment.

The school has excellent staff. My children enjoy their education at Mount Hope. I was really impressed by the school's student services. They not only do a great job with kids that need a little extra help, but they also provide additional enrichment for the ones that are ahead of their class academically.

My children have had a fabulous experience at Mount Hope. The teachers truly care about each child and their individual needs. Students who are advanced in certain subjects are able to be taught using higher level curriculum. Those who are struggling and need additional instruction are provided with one-on-one help for no additional cost. The principal is a genuinely wonderful person who cares deeply for each student. I highly recommend this school.

Mount Hope has been a great school for my children. My youngest child just graduated and my oldest two year ago. Both started in Preschool and graduated at the fifth grade. The experience has been great and our children were well prepared for middle school. They are both honor students and doing school work two years ahead oft their friends in Public School. I feel my children receive excellent academic teaching, were taugh great morals, to work hard, how to love, show respect and Godly principles. We will miss Mt. Hope but my children are now shinning in their middle school.

Absolutely love Mount Hope. I have a 3 year old in the Pre-K program and a 5 year old in the Kindergarden program. They are both very happy and learning new things daily. It was a very easy transition from our previous day care to Mount Hope. The after/before school is great also.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
