I am a graduate of Blue Hills, and while there I loved every second. For the first half of Freshman year you will get to expirience different shops and what they have to offer, and then you will get the chance to pick your permanent shop, which you will have every other week. The academic teachers prep you well for college and the Shop teachers prep you well for the trade you chose. I personally didn't stick with Electrical when I graduated but it had nothing to do with the school system or teachers. I highly reccomend this school to anyone looking for a great enviornment and teachers who truly care about the wellfare of the children.

i go too blue hills and in 9th grade, its really fun here and we just got placed into our permanent shops. We make a lot of friends from different towns, and we learn all about a skill with a professional teacher to aid us. Its really fun and i would suggest that whoever is given the oppertunity to go, to take the oppertunity. you won't regret it. the academics can be hard, but the teachers will help you through the material.

The school is terrible. They try to take college bound students and give them shop every other week. After graduating students are not prepared for college or a vocation.

this school has bright open spaces, good terachers and is safe. I went there and I loved it. You get to actually graduate with a skill which these days, is SO helpful whether you do it for the rest of your life or not, the option is there. I can't say anything but great things about it and I think all public schools should try to be like blue hills.

This is a great school. I taught there and sent my son for his high school education. He learned a great trade...construction and later went on to a technical college where he was on the honor roll for all four years. I credit Blue Hills for giving him a good education.
