I am a school counselor for special needs students from across Southern Central Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. Bay Path has consistently demonstrated a committment to meeting the needs of students with learning and emotional challenges. Several area tech schools shy away from accepting students with special needs. Bay path embraces them. From specific classsroom accommodations, pre-teaching technical language, to patience and close supervision within the shop setting - Bay Path has done well by the SPED students we have sent there.
The is a great school. I have 2 children in different high schools. Thgis by far has been the best experience all around!
I find the academics, the vocational and extracurricular activities in this school excellent. The academic portion can be a little difficult on students because they learning the same information as other schools in half of the time. This is ecspecially true in the homework department. This is made up for by the fact that on shop weeks there is little to no homework. There are over 20 different shops that a student can choose. As a freshman the student is allowed to sample several different shops they are interested in to determine which one they will take for the next 3 1/2 years. I personally know several successful graduates of the school from various fields. Bay Path is one of the few schools that I know of in this area that still allows students to play sports for free. And they remain competetive in most
I think Bay Path is a great school for hands on it's so great that the students get to get that kind of training.
To be accepted into Bay Path is an honor, which all students should realize. This is about how much effort you put into yourself to succeed and the staff will never give up on you, unless you give up on yourself.
I am a parent but my daughter is only 3. And she will definitely be attending! As a past student I would recommend this high school. It has a great curriculum, teachers & sports teams!
the academic program at BPRVTHS is very good i am doing so much better here than i ever was in my sending district...it would be col to have a music program though. the sports and other extracurricular activites are very good and the idea of 1 week shop and 1 week of academics is a lot of fun. this shool is very good and i highly reccomend it!
This is a great school, the teachers are wonderful. If the student is a good student, they will shine at Bay Path. It has its problems, just like any other school, but the faculty and administration work their hardest to make it a good school, and they do.
