I am so glad I removed my child from this school. Military lifestyle was NOT for him. He never felt accomplished. He never got the praise he needed to grow. NOW.. he loves to work on learning even after school. I"m so relieved this princple gave up on my child. It was the push I needed to understand good education doesn't stop with St.Stan. My child received so much more leaving St.Stans.
I have a child there and I couldn't be happier. The education standard is very high and it should be. I've never seen a child ignored because he wasn't smart enough, that's absurd. The facility is top-notch, clean and modern. 7/10 sounds like a transfer student from another school where the standards weren't very high.
I currently have two children enrolled, I feel the school is a good fit for one, however if your child has any kind, even slight, learning curve, this is not the school for them. I don't feel they have the resources or desire to address those needs. Their emphasis is more on the above average student not the 'average' student. I also have witnessed negative reinforcement more often than positive. I would like to see the music and art programs more detailed. I do feel extremely comfortable with my children's safety.
A little over a decade after graduating from St. Stanislaus I can now appreciate the level of education and personal development I received there. In conversations with friends of mine who attended other private schools it has become crystal clear that St. Stanislaus had far and away the most well-rounded and comprehensive curriculum. The faculty and staff share an excitement and sincerity for the work they do and it is reflected in the achievements of their alumni. Many of the alumni have gone on to graduate as Valedictorians of their high school classes and many more have enrolled at well-known colleges and universities. When I was a student the school offered a number of classes including music and physical education. I also played for several school sponsored sports teams. To put it simply: The return on your investment in a child's education at St Stanislaus is well worth the tuition.
'I sent both of my children to St. Stan's. It was a great education! The faculty and staff couldn't have been more supportive. I know that my children's future success started at St. Stan's. They received an excellent academic foundation in a faith-filled environment. Anyone who sends their children to St. Stan's is giving them the best shot at success. These are the words of a very proud parent.'
St. Stanislaus School has been synonymous with academic excellance for over 100 years. I graduated from St. Stanislaus School and my child is currently enrolled at the school. When I went to the school, I was challenged and encouraged by my teachers to embrace learning. As a mother, I appreciate how much the teachers care for the students. I appreciate all of the extras they do to encourage students to love learning. The school has a newspaper, drama club, reading clubs, band/choir and sports teams. The children are taught to care about their community and each other. St. Stanislaus School is a caring, nurturing environment where children are given a well rounded education in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. The school also has music, art and PE programs for all grade levels. St. Stanislaus is more than a school; it is an extended family.
My daughter loves the school, which she has attended for 6 years. The class sizes are small. The students go between multiple teachers (examples: 2 teachers in grade 1 or 4 teachers in grades 5-6 ; plus pe,computer, etc) so they get exposure to different teaching styles and don't need to spend all day with a teacher they may not be compatible with. They do a good amount of work with computers starting in Kdg so the students have lots of exposure to it. They also have good before-school and after-school care for the students, which is important to working parents. There are a few things we would change as parents, but overall we are very happy with the school.
My children have gone to St. Stanislaus for 7 years and this is the best school money can buy. The study habits they have obtained here are phenomenal and the great sports programs keep the children well rounded. The best by far.
