Chilmark School is a wonderful school. The school focuses on multi-age teaching and companionship amongst all age levels. The school is K-5 grade and produces some of the most intellengent, considerate and well mannered children in the public school system. The schoolis offered as part of the school of choice program which means if their is room in the classroom and you live in a different town other than Chilmark, you may choose to have your child enrolled. It is a small and gracious school with an amazing teaching staff that work well together and respect one another. Everyone should consider Chilmark as a choice for the lower elementary learning.
