Both my children attend this school. The teachers are great! They work well with both my children. The school has worked great with my son who has a disorder they have made many accomidations for him to feel comfortable. The only thing is they spend all that time going over the bullying rules and making sure the students understand them but I think the parents are the ones who should be taught righ from wrong. If you attend this school it is wonderful in so many ways just dont pick your kids up in the back talk about high school all over again.

This is our first year at Riverside in the Integrated Preschool program. I am not sure about the other grades, but the preschool teachers have gone above and beyond my expectations with my son! He has improved so much on so many levels in the past several months. I agree that with any school parent involvement is key! Whether it be participating in the school fundraisers or speaking up with the Parent's Association. Get involved. If you have little time to get involved because of work, then find out through your school's PA how you can help out. Even if it's sticking some stamps on an envelope. Also, with any school, you need to be proactive in your child's education. If you are not happy, speak up!

My children attend Riverside school and I have had very positive experiences with all of their teachers thus far. I think that the principal is excellent and truly looks to help the children excel. I think a little more parent involvement would go a long way towards improving the school's overall performance. We do not have the affluence of the other schools in the area, but we should not let that stop us from giving our children the best experience we can.

I have two children who attend this school. At one time this school was the best of the best. I feel it can get back there. Your school is what you make of it. Maybe if more parents got involved in their child's educational experience then maybe it can be the best again! I am happy with this school!

Taxpayers o Danvers should revolt. Other elementry schools in town are better. This school is one of the worst schools in the state. Teachers have favorites and never give feed back to student. Test and homework do not exist. This school is sad. I had to remove my children and homeschool them to get a good education. I do not know why I pay taxes.

My children attented Riverside and had two of the previous principals. I found the school to be greatly lacking in teaching basic math skills and the importance of math in general. They also pushed reading so much that it made my children dislike reading and they had both been good readers and enjoyed reading. Even now that they are older they are starting to enjoy reading for pleasure again, but get frustrated with having to read from a list of books for the 'summer reading' requirement when they have many other books they would like to read in their 'vacation' time. Even the middle and high schools require summer reading! The MCAS scores support my view on math.
