People say this school isnt great. IT IS! I am currently a student and i am in 7th grade. The teachers are very friendly, but a few of them are pretty disrespectful. But to me, thats nothing major. The school is very clean and well built. The classes are great, and have great technological objects to help me learn. This school is a state of the art middle school. I strongly recommend to go to this school.

First of all to people who are negative about this school I am in 8 grade right now i went through richmond, rebecca nurse, and now bowditch currently these last 2 MCAS's i scored advance these teachers are preparing us very well for this test. Second of all it's not the schools problem if the kids you raised act like little brats YOU should raise them or not have kids if you can't devote 22 years to your kids keep your knees together ankles crossed Third of all getting to the point this school is amazing it's clean the teachers care about everyone could be a little less lenient with some kids but i have learned everything i am going to need for high school and beyond. We have some of the most friendliest and kindest kids though not denying it we have some of most idotic brats you can imagine. Our teachers are compassionate towards each student and individualize to some kids needs. This school is one of the best don't kid yourself otherwise.

Holten Richmond is a very old building that has been refurbished and has many energy effecient systems to help save money for the town. We also have the top of the line equipment in the classrooms.

We love HRMS, not just because it is a wonderfully modern, state of the art place of learning, but the staff genuinely cares about the students and makes learning exciting. I've seen the kids laughing in class! When did I ever laugh in middle school???

When I went to the school for the last three years, I had many mixed feelings about my experience. The school is really nice and clean which is positive, and MOST of the teachers were very nice, but there are many negatives about the school. The students had absolutely atrocious behavior and i didnt really learn anything. I'm in high school now and the teachers at the HRMS put me in all honors classes. I was getting all A's in middle school, and then all of a sudden when i got to high school, i was barely pulling C's. The teachers really didn't prepare us well at all. Finally, most of the teachers really don't do anything if a student acts up in school or on the school property, which made me really angry. Washington DC was fun though

I have four children attend Holten Richmond and cannot be happier. They all excelled in their studies and extracurricular activites. I am frankly shocked at some of these negative reviews. If these parents took responsibilty for their own children's behavior and study habits, I guarantee their children would have success. It is not a school's responsibilty to discipline and raise their children, it is the parents!

I cannot believe the behavior of the children from this school. Everyone...teachers etc. are completely immune. While picking up... I have witnessed on several occassions teachers and parents alike, completely ignoring their child's behavior on their way in and out. I would hate to live in that neighborhood...I am sure the neighbors must get sick of hearing their explicit language and tomfoolery in and around their property. The parents should be ashamed at the way their children act. When it is brought to their attention, you might as well be talking to a brick wall. They need to lose their 'Not my kid attitude.'
